The Purple Jacket:

Generally, the episode starts out the same. Donnie might not have the craving for validation that his canon counterpart has, but I think he's still kinda lonely. Leo tries very hard, and his family is supportive, but Donnie yearns for some friends on the same intellectual wavelength. So he still approaches The Purple Dragons, shows off his tech, and gets his own jacket to take home.

Once he gets home, Leo makes sure to compliment Donnie on his new jacket, and thus is the only turtle allowed to touch it. (Not wear it though.) As Donnie leaves, Leo falters because he remembers this...and he also remembers Donnie leaving in the middle of the night and coming back without the jacket. And he never asked why.

Pondering the mystery (and panicking that something horrible happened to Donnie and he never asked (he's such a terrible brother), Leo goes to Donnie's lab in the middle of the night, only to see all his battle shells are missing. He screams, Donnie wakes up wondering what's going on, Leo screams again and points to the missing battle shells, Donnie sees it and screams, they scream together, and only then do they get the April call.

Donnie: No no no! I need to go!

Leo: I'm coming too! (trying to be a better brother this time)

Donnie: You don't...Actually, yes. Yes, you should absolutely come!

The twins meet up with April, and Leo teleports them to the Nakamura building so they get there faster. Thanks to Leo's portals, they actually reach the top floor before the Purple Dragons finish downloading the code. Leo and April are ready to fight while Donnie is...oddly calm. Almost amused. Kendra tries sending one of the battle shells at April to stall them, but just before it reaches her...

Recorded Donnie Voice: Vocal recognition completed. Subject A recognized. Deploying anti-hacker safety protocols.

Leo and April: Wha?

Then all of Donnie's tech that the Purple Dragons stole turns and starts attacking the Purple Dragons. Donnie smugly explains that due to their experiences with Hypno and the possibility of Donnie's tech being used against the family, he's installed some safety measures. He's still working on getting April fully installed, (he doesn't have enough images or recordings of her scared,) so Leo was partially brought along as backup.

April: What do you mean 'partially?'

Donnie: Well, I couldn't rule out the possibility that I myself would be turned evil due to mind control or other forces, so I can't turn off the anti-hacker systems. The only voice it will recognize-

Leo: Is mine?!

Purple Dragons: (screaming in the background)

Donnie: Yes, and the password. Remember the note I gave you two weeks ago?

Leo: The one you said never to open unless you either tell me otherwise or go completely supervillain on us?

Donnie: That's the one!

Leo: B-but why me?!

Donnie: One, twins. Two, after researching the family, it was concluded that you are the least likely to turn evil.

So Leo opens another portal to get the note, reads it, and turns red because why did Donnie make this the password!? Donnie watches excitedly as Leo quietly mumbles "Execute emergency shutdown. Code: Donnie&LeoBestTwins4Life." The tech shuts down and Donnie is feeling incredibly smug while Leo hides his face in embarrassment.

They tie up the Purple Dragons and Donnie scolds them for thinking they could use his tech, then takes off the jacket and rips it in half, leaving the pieces behind. He lasts until Leo portals them home, and then starts wailing because it was a perfectly dramatic moment, but he could have dug out the code, he could have saved the jacket, his super cool jacket, whyyyyyy!?

(Leo teleports back and takes a snapshot of the jacket tag. For Donnie's birthday that year, Leo gets him a new purple satin jacket, but with Donnie's own logo on it instead. Donnie declares Leo the best twin ever!)

Pizza Pit:

Episode starts a little different. The brothers originally wanted to go to Leo's favorite place first, but he pushed to go to Mikey's. It's not until he sees the pizza place fall into the pit that Leo remembers what happened. While Mikey mourns, Raph tries to comfort, and Donnie does not care, Leo uses his portals to rescue everyone who fell into the pit before diving in himself.

Once there, he tries to get the attention of DIGG, who assume he's a fan. Leo plays along a bit because he remembers them being relatively peaceful, and tries to talk them out of destroying the pillars for safety reasons. But then his brothers show up and DIGG flees with their newest 'groupie'.

Leo: Wait, groupie? GAH!!!

All the brothers are worried, but Mikey is the most enraged because they took his favorite pizza place and his brother. So there's a mad chase through the tunnels as Leo tries to convince DIGG to stop destroying the pillars. He tries to connect them to Sunita since she helped his brothers get that one gig for Albearto's, but that only convinces DIGG that Mikey, Donnie, and Raph are a rival band.

DIGG uses Leo's phone to challenge Mikey, Donnie, and Raph to a battle of the bands, which means they rush back to the lair to pick up Splinter. While they're doing this, Leo manages to get through to April and Sunita and ask for help.

The brothers arrive at the challenge spot, back where Lou Mike Tony's Pizza fell into the pit. DIGG goes first, and rocks out, which is when Sunita and April show up. April with more pizza and Sunita with her business savvy. DIGG doesn't do aboveground concerts because of their mutations/better acoustics, but the Hidden City is miles underground! So Sunita becomes DIGG's new manager and sets up their first gig.
