Being stuck away from my usual setting (tablet + laptop), I decided to practice with my long abandoned pencils and give a chance to a tinted paper sketchbook that I had never used. And guys, sometimes having access to the right (for you) supplies can really make a difference: I had not practice traditional drawing in years because I'm bad at lineart and building volumes with graphite on white paper takes so long I always lost motivation before seeing any result. But having a midtone base makes it so much easier than now I find it rewarding and fun and I'm pushed to practice more.

I'm not sure what I'm trying to say, but tl:dr go out there and experiment with the many many supplies that exist, there is a cheap version for anything: maybe you are convinced that you are bad at certain forms of art only because you haven't found your tools yet.
