i have too very close friends who until recently i hung out with often, made an effort to see a lot and reach out and chat with them and see how they’re doing etc. a few months ago they did something kind of shitty but not like irredeemable or anything and i kind of decided eh well i guess i just won’t really make plans with them or reach out bc this has kind of turned me off. and now their only interaction with me for the last like 2.5 months has been liking my strava workouts. ok cool,,,

Finished the Black Elk biography!! That shit was fascinating. Next book is The Chosen and the Damned: Native Americans and the Making of Race in the United States. Slight self doxing here but the author was my favorite college professor and his other books are fantastic. I read excerpts of this one already because he was working on it while I was taking his classes.

so i have a relative who is extremely unfortunately been in and out of jail the last couple of years as a result of a severe mental health crisis and whenever they get arrested again my family starts asking ME to interpret the little information that’s available and i’m like guys im not even a 1L till august pls im not a lawyer
