#fx animation

This was my first time animating a sonic character and I hadn't had much practice with the shapes yet either. I've got another one underway that I'm making with Blender that I hope will look a bit cleaner. Still wanted to share because look at this angy little man!!

An 11 second animation of Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The animation is in black and white aside from the FX. The camera whip zooms into the character from a high angle as Shadow looks towards the camera. After a beat he shakes his head and the camera switches angles to show his hand summoning a chaos spear. He pulls back his arm holding the spear and the camera switches back into a high angle medium close up with his empty hand preparing aim close to the camera. He mouths out "Chaos Spear" in a yell and throws the spear towards the camera. The camera cuts to a wide shot where we can see him throw the spear and after a beat the ground beneath him shatters. There is no sound.
