For more context, this drawing is based on a move from Inazuma Eleven, a soccer anime that everyone should watch. “Illusion Ball” is the technique of a character named Kidou Yuuto (Jude Sharp in the dub), a character who is cool and collected, much like Sahara. I thought both characters were pretty similar, and so I happened upon the idea to draw Sahara as Kidou.

Of course, I had to also make a version with Kidou’s goggles.

Anyways, I’m super proud of this piece, and even though I feel like Nico from VCD fits Kidou a lot more, I was too far into the drawing to change it…

… and I like Sahara more (sorry Nico fans! He is still very cool!)
