I just found out as of yesterday my benefits case was closed, without warning.

Merry Christmas.

We can't do anything about it before Monday and with the help of some very kind people my kids are getting gifts but the nature of our mental illnesses and where we are in treatment means that we can't work right now (my husband's psychiatrist has declared that he doesn't want him to even think about it for at least a year). I very definitely can't maintain a regular job right now.

Even if I can get our case reopened it's going to take time and we need whatever help we can get making it through that period.
