Cary was also with Orry-Kelly, the best costume designer in the Golden Age of Hollywood, before he was Cary Grant. They were working on Broadway and came out to Hollywood together before Cary dumped him and became Cary Grant. There's a gorgeous biography/documentary on Orry called Women He's Undressed and it's on Netflix.
