I made my first visual novel all by myself!!!

It's called Schmitty's Chicken Shack and it's about working in a fast food place called, you guessed it, Schmitty's Chicken Shack. When the store closes, you discover that there's been a murder in the store! Can you figure out which one of your coworkers did it and bring them to justice?

I made it in a week for Scream Jam 2023 over on itch.io! It's definitely not perfect, but that's okay!!! I also couldn't figure out how to program in audio 😭😭😭

It's about 8k words and has four different endings!

In the Versus mode of Tetris Attack, different characters can be unlocked, though the choice to play as any of them is purely cosmetic. If the Hard or Very Hard difficulty is cleared by picking Poochy as the player character for the final battle, there will be a unique piece of dialogue in the ending where Poochy will call himself a good dog.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Swipin' Stu enemies are able to steal Mario's hat, whereupon they also gain a copy of his mustache. The model for the hat and mustache is saved in the files in such a way that it can also be applied to other kinds of Stu enemies, even though it is only used by the Swipin' Stus.
