I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing that you enjoy writing smut rather than participating in the real act. Obviously I’m not licensed to say nor am I trying to pawn my opinion off on you in any way, but sexuality is so fluid and maybe it is possible that you fall on the asexual spectrum. Or maybe it’s just as simple as you get more pleasure from writing than what you do while having sex in real life.

This topic is a pretty a tough one, if I’m being honest, but I’m more than happy to try my best for ya. As cheesy as it sounds, I think that there’s love out there for everyone. Some of us just take a little longer to really get a hold of that feeling and that’s okay. Finding someone to fall in love with sometimes takes time and trust me, I know that time is not something that can be taken so lightly but when we’re so focused on finding the right one, we sometimes ignore those who are already around us. Those who are with us almost every day of our lives like our friends and family and just people who enjoy your company as much as you enjoy theirs. We don’t mean to but we take for granted their presence and their time that they want to share with us. They fade into our blind spot as we search for someone who isn’t even in sight yet, leaving us to feel alone like no one’s around because we don’t see what’s right in front of us. So, my advice that I can confidently give is to spend more time with those who are already with you (even if it’s just platonic relationships) and go live life with them so that the person who will fall for your smile while you’re doing what you love with the people you love the most can find you and admire you and want to be a part of the world that they’re witnessing you in. I really hope that this helps and gives you some kind of peace of mind. I really wish nothing but love and happiness for you and to know that you are worthy of all things good things in life. And to know that you deserve not only love from someone else but love for yourself as well. And I can bet that there are people who wouldn’t trade you for the world. And one day, some lucky person will trust you with their heart and will make the feeling of loneliness disappear. 

I got this on my tellonym awhile back and I’d like to answer it here cause I’m diggin this whole tumblr vibe plus I hope it can reach out to anyone else who’s having trouble with this sort of thing. So, let me just start for one to claim that I have this same problem lmao. I always have a hard time reaching out but when I get myself to build up the courage to attempt at making new friends orp I always check out their profile first. If there’s something that you can relate to, I always find that a lot easier to get a vibe going cause now y’all are fangirling over something you both love whether its whoever they’re defaulting, a show they watch or a book they like to read. But if you don’t wanna do all that and you just wanna slide right into their comments, try to think of something catchy to say or cute or goofy instead of the regular ol’ “hey, whats up?” See if you can make them laugh or smile and that will leave an impression they won’t wanna miss out on! Now, if you wanna approach someone irl and get a vibe going..that’s way trickier to me cause I have social anxiety and it’s easier for me to be approached rather than the other way around. HOWEVER! I assume that it’s kind of the same thing as rp yanno? Look around your surroundings. Why are you two in the same place? Find that common ground and work your way from there! Hopefully that helps anyone looking to make new connections and friendships inside and outside of rp!
