a bunch of things from the batman files (some of which probably originated other places, yes) because i love random details and useless trivia:
the live-action 1960s batman tv show happened in-universe. bruce didn’t really care. dick was so annoyed, he tried to convince him to sue (and also he apparently managed to convince bruce to turn the batmobile into a convertible for a while)
gordon only worked at the gcpd for 3 years before he was made police commissioner
bruce calls hal a cowboy… for some reason
he added the bright yellow circle around the bat symbol to try and make himself more of a target and draw fire away from dick
joker venom and fear gas flashbacks might be a thing that can happen?
the waynes died on june 27th
the graysons died on may 2nd
the batmobile didn’t have a back seat at first, so when they needed to transport people, they’d just throw them in the fucking trunk
thomas wayne and charles sionis were golf buddies, and roman and bruce were forced to have play dates together when they were kids
somebody managed to get a picture of dick the very first night he went out as nightwing. he stole the camera and left the guy a few hundred bucks as compensation
bruce likes the name “spoiler”
he thinks damian has his eyes and talia’s mouth
babs passive aggressively sends bruce screenshots when she catches him messing around with selina on security feeds
alfred got so sick of bruce not eating the food he cooked that he started equally as passive aggressively making menus of what he planned to make that day and giving them to him ahead of time
the batmobile is unlocked by a button on the utility belt
bruce had a jonah hex action figure as a kid
and while he was on the ground bleeding to death after being shot by the actual jonah hex, he was thinking about how he’d kinda like to buy another one once he got back home
damian’s robin outfit was designed by dick
when he was batman, dick had a dedicated security program for his jla transporter room called the NDA (No Damian Allowed) protocol
and last but not least, my personal favorite:
the first outlet to report that batman had a sidekick was a super trashy anti-batman tabloid, which told people he was a bloodthirsty maniac brainwashed by batman, who was his biological father, speculated about whether catwoman or poison ivy were his mother, and pushed a conspiracy theory that dick brutally beat zucco to death with a baseball bat and the reason it was being reported that zucco died of a heart attack was because commissioner gordon was helping them cover it up
