LOKI LAFEUYSON IS A PROUD BOTTOM BITCH AND THAT IS CANON

ok guys, I just found out that the original joke is: 

‘you call yourself lord of tunder’

but in Italy it is:  

'si fa chiamare lo zio del tuono' 

which means:

 'you call yourself uncle of tunder' 

He is trying to express that the way he was treated his entire life, the devastation of learning he was Jotun, the torment he suffered at the hands of Thanos, and the fact that nobody, even Thor, ever thought to ask just once what happened to you? Why do you feel like this? Tell me and I’ll listen were all major factors in sending Loki off the deep end.

 And then, when he comes back home to his family (who know that he was so broken-hearted and mad with grief that he literally tried to kill himself), he is treated as a criminal worth less than the scum on Odin’s boot. If Loki had even any tiny shred of hope that he was still a member of the family he was raised in, it died a gruesome death with Odin’s unnecessarily cruel life imprisonment sentence. 

Loki isn’t asking who literally put him in a cell. He’s not denying his crimes. He’s desperate for some kind of acknowledgement that he didn’t commit them just for fun. That he alone isn’t to blame for his psychotic break. He was mentally imprisoned long before Odin ever put him in that cell. 

I think when you have a family that treats you this way, it makes it hard to want to take responsibility for your actions. Loki could not reconcile his victimhood with Thor’s need for him to be accountable for his every mistake, even those for which he could have provided some explanation. 

Loki is just one lanky pillar of salt. 😂 And I like to think he just roams around in onesies after a certain point.
