Whoa. The last girl who did that was Uzi. She probably wouldn't be very happy that another girl did it but...she'd understand!

"Uhhhh--"

The display changes, showing his systems rebooting as he falls slack in her grip,. upright but turning off for a moment. Everything cycles, then he wakes up, completely back to normal, besides the remainders of chocolate around his mouth.

"Okay," He says quietly, coming to a stop.

"Yeah, I kinda live more than once, and come back a lot and...well, maybe it won't totally kill me if I try this! And if it does I'll just come back!"

He hesitantly puts the candy in his mouth, the temperature of it immediately melting it until the inside of his mouth is all sticky, making it difficult for him to open his mouth...and is that a sizzle coming from in there?! His optics screen bluescreens, displaying an error.

Then they let out a relieved sigh. Despite the tears in their eyes, they were thankful that someone was kind enough to stop and help them.

"Ah...um..." Chiikawa looked around for a moment, as if they were searching for something. They had lost their little pink purse that was shaped like a bear. "...Purse."

It was so...cute! He thought only dogs were cute before, but whatever this is is also soooo cute!

"Oh, are you missin' something?" He peeks around, looking for a purse. A little tough when there wasn't a description, but luckily it spots it soon enough, on the floor by the fence on the other side.

Zooble looked them up and down as the robot caught up to them. What was the point of asking?

"Suit yourself." They shrugged.

Starting a fire indoors would be something they could get away with had this been one of Caine's adventures. Those usually never followed much logic to begin with. Though, their current predicament didn't either.

"Maybe if we get desperate enough we can start one."

The first room they checked wasn't any warmer than the lobby so that was a no-go. The rest of the rooms on that floor were the same. There wasn't even a trace of anyone having stayed there. Meaning no loot to be found. Even if there was would that count as stealing if it was to save them from freezing to death?

"Oh, I don't know if starting a fire inside is the best idea," N states, even though starting a fire had been his idea in the first place. "Didn't really think of that one. But I mean, if we don't have any other choice..."

He peers around, trying to see if there is anything else around them that could help. Could N even freeze? Copper-9 was pretty cold and he was fine. He doesn't know about -

"Zooble! Wow, that's a really cool name! I'm N, just N, so it's not as cool."

"Is that right? Well, gory movies with lots of blood happen in snowy movies. Heck, if you want a really good example, there's a classic horror movie called That Thing, and it's set in one of the coldest places on that planet. It's a device that keeps the researchers at the base trapped there with the monster. GREAT special effects--you should give it a watch!"

Maybe he should tell Uzi about that one, she'd probably like it.

"Whoa, that sounds uh, actually kind of. Relatable. Are you sure it's not based on real life?" Seriously, he could've been describing Copper-9 and the Disassembly Drones.

"Swords...swords are more like it! I think she...and I! Would really like something like that..." He frowns though. "That uh. That also sounds kind of familiar."

"...But maybe we can redo it? The black and purple are really nice but everything else could probably be a bit neater. We still got plenty of paper to get it right thankfully. And I don't mind going out if we need extras too."

"I mean it definitely comes from the heart, I just wish my heart was a little better at this..."

He raises one of the links to look at it, then looks to Mika with the most pathetic expression he can muster on his display.

Surely it was fine to take that joke at face value and not look deeper into it!

"Oh yeah, if I was like over 100, then you would be like over 200 or something right? I'm not really that good at that kinda math."

"Is this like...food food? Like real human food? I think it'll really mess up my circuits if I eat this..."

"But...sometimes it is your job and people will call you mean things if you don't do it...so I guess...it's sort of okay? If it's your job? Huh."
