Idea for a PMMM gag manga.
It's the post-Rebellion timeline. Homura is the omnipotent ruler of the universe, but she uses her powers exclusively to set up dates with Madoka (at the carnival, baseball game, concert, etc.), but since she's still cringefail incarnate who doesn't actually know how to behave normally around her crush, she makes it weird every single time and each time she runs home in tears from embarrassment after dropping Madoka off convinced that Madoka thinks that she's a creep, except Madoka never notices that there's anything wrong, so it always ends with her happily writing in her diary about the fun day she had hanging out with Homura-chan while Homura is in her weird gothic castle sobbing under the kitchen table while Clara Dolls hand her tissues and Kyubey unhelpfully tries to provide advice.
Also, whenever she runs home crying, she always passes by Sayaka and Kyoko making out on a park bench or something, until she finally gets so jealous that she hits them with lightning, leaving them with big confused eyeballs on soot-blackened faces like they're Looney Tunes, wondering wtf that came from.
Someone rbing my post about torturing your favorite character and saying theyre glad they have empathy??? And they're going to protect thwir characters and swaddle them and shit instead of my weird stuff?? 😭😭 Okay well your blorbo is going next :-/ sorry it has to be done
@ekkoree @apvucyc
okay fair but imagine this instead:
Homura is shocked with Sayaka for not hating the devil as much as she should, empathising with her, telling her that she should have had support through the timeloops and everything, saying how sorry she is for making homura suffer and for being worthless.
Homura gets so fed up by it in fact, that she straight up throws Sayaka into a simulation of the timeloops constructed by the devil's memories to break her. "You think you could have helped me? You could have saved me? Really!? Think again."
I also made this when pooping on my shift

So, I heard Chloe was trying to make a movie about her time as Queen Bee and sadness aside it has me imagining how that could be pretty fascinating in the hands of the right writer.
Cause like... Hear me out. Let's say she still wants to do the project and gets a deal with Netflix or whatever but they want it to be like a mini series, three or four one hour specials, it's not ideal but she'll take it. Audrey and Noe are semi checked out cause they think Netflix is lower tier and have Kingdom stuff to do and so mostly just poke in to make sure she's not fucking up too badly.
Moving on to Chloe herself, as previously noted Miraculous's story from her perspective is low key horrifying in terms of how often she was targeted for death, had things ripped away from her, was actively manipulated or generally just jerked around by people with way more power than her with zero context. & the thing is, even if she's not conciously aware of how fucked up some/all of that is, I could see her trying to recreate it for authenticity.
IE, her screwed up dynamic with Andre, her "Reconciliation" with Audrey, all that stuff but obviously to an outsider its like, "Hey that's fucked actually." Which has me imagining the Miracle Class reading a review of the Special from a critic who has consistently disdained Chloe's work expecting a good laugh and getting... Weird feelings.
Not necessarily huge self awareness, resolving all 'that' baggage is way more than can be done easily, but maybe a degree of 'Oh I may need to muse on this a bit' from it, thus review:
"I've made no secret of my disdain for Chloe Bourgeois's quick click film making style, too much flare, trying to compensate for a novice with too much to say and not the vocabulary to say it was a rejoinder I have stood by... Until now."
"I won't say her film making style has radically evolved, the production is still more garrish than suits my taste but beneath that flash is a surprisingly honest and achingly sincere story about a very troubled teen's struggle to find herself."
"Only for everything for the frankly warped way she was brought up, to woeful role models and failing adults and idols to send her careening off her unsteady rise to heroism and into self destruction at the hands of a villainous mastermind."
"In truth, I am unsure even Miss Bourgeois herself is wholly aware of how much of a tell all film this is, I spoke with the actor for one Andre Bourgeois who had this to say:"
"I actually asked us to stop filming several times to try and stress to Chloe that this was not normal and questioning if this dynamic with Andre was something she was exaggerating for drama." "She shrugged me off saying it was not only accurate but if anything watered down and having seen some of her other relationships on and off set I've no reason to doubt her. "Chloe's a lot of things, blunt foremost amongst them, but she's not a liar. I do wonder if she realizes just how much this film is saying about her childhood, heroes and especially her family."
"There you have it, I will be going into greater detail below the cut, but just know that for all my disagreements with Chloe Bourgeois from everything to fashion, to personality, I think this project demonstrates that there is much more to her than just the caricature of a rich girl she plays for the public and I hope we get to see more of this side of her, the real side of her, going forward."
Oh that could be fascinating actually!
You know, when I first watched Madoka in college it had this representation of being a huge subversive thing that isn't like the other magical girl shows. These girls don't fight using the powers of truth, friendship, and love. They fight fucked up monsters that can kill them.
Rewatching it now, probably a decade after my first watch, it really is still about hope and love. Going on the merits of the show, yes they live in this dark world where incubators harvest them for energy, but the show is very transparently about how emotions give us power and drive us to do good things. Kyubey is so compelling as an antagonistic force because he's driven by cold, uncaring logic to the point where he can rationalize any action no matter how terrible. All the girls except Mami use their wish to help someone they care about, and all of them clearly want to do good in the world no matter how coldhearted or ruthless they seem. It's succumbing to a nihilistic despair that turns them into witches. Like, this show is all about emotions.
And the power of love is what kicks off the show. Homura loves Madoka so deeply that she turns back time over and over just to save her. We're told that this continual timeline reset essentially multiplies Madoka's power, and in Kyubey's eyes this makes her a more enticing target. Initially you're led to believe that it just makes everything increasingly futile; in acting to change fate, Homura only made it that much more inevitable. But no, because Homura's love gives Madoka power, and with that power Madoka is finally able to act on her love for her friends, family, and Homura to literally make a better world.
Madoka literally becomes a concept, which in a roundabout way does argue for the existence of every magical girl show, even the cheesiest, sappiest, most formulaic ones you can think of. There's all kinds of analysis about how magical girl shows are representative of growing into adults and learning the value of emotions, creating these sweet, low stakes worlds in which younger audiences can explore these ideas. And Madoka becomes that concept, that idea that helps ease the other magical girls' pain.
The edgiest, most subversive thing you could ever do is to sincerely care about others.

“Which is gayer” meme. Part 3
You know, it hadn't even fully occurred to me until Queen of the Dreadzone JUST HOW horrific and insidious a situation Chloé has been put in this season.
Seeing both Audrey and Noé encourage her to be worse just kind of expands and deepens what we've known since season 2, sure. And it was obvious they were setting her up to replace Adrien as an icon, but. MAN...
Making her an influencer. Her now being very nearly THE most followed influencer on the internet. While also being isolated from any real human connection and encouraged to sabotage any attempt to reach her.
She's always craved validation, and now shecan get it from a Like count. She just films herself being awful and gets to feel increasingly rewarded for it, and mommy dearest approves and big brother says it's so useful. Why would she need anyone else? People love her. The numbers say so. The guys paid to say yes to her every whim including constantly changing their names say so. The only family she's still in contact with say so and they love her too, don't they? Mom rarely yells at her and supports her now, isn't that what love is?
Her life is perfect. What could possibly be wrong? :) Why would she ever want it to change?
And if those numbers ever fall and she stops being so useful or they find a better plan, then— Well. Then. Surely she'd just... need to try harder... right? They love her! Her followers LOVE her! They wouldn't just leave her and move on! ... Right?

Nagisa living long enough to form bonds with other magical girls presents two wildly different AUs:
1. She meets Mami and the two help eachother through their mutual issues (fluff-fix-it-fic style)
2. She's mentored by Yuu and becomes an assassin who gets you with the bubble blower and puts a slice of cheese on your corpse (fix-it-fic but alot less fluff)
Out of all Chloe’s family members, Andre, Audrey, and Noe, which one is the most caring? I’m not mentioning Zoe, not necessarily because she’s the worst, but because I think we've seen enough of her in Season 6 to reasonably conclude she’s cut off ties with Chloe and isn’t working to make things change.
Does Jean Armand count lol. Because frankly none. Zoe like you said cut off ties with her and wasn’t ever close with her. Andre abandoned her and Audrey considers her worthless. Noe while acting to care about her like Audrey also treats Chloe as a tool for his plans. Maybe Chloe’s grandparents loved her and were caring towards her.
You're telling me that going to live with, and be raised by, the worst woman and mother alive in the universe of the show didn't made someone a better person?
I am in shock!
MLB truly has the smartest fandom, since they all seemed able to foresee it while I was SOOO BLINDSIDED!!!
And the most brilliant writers to, I never expected the "things stayed the same" twist...
Shock and awe...

Sayaka hates what Homura did
Hates it with her whole soul
She gets it, a slight bit
But she hates it so much
She remembers time and time again, confronting the girl who tore the world into pieces and rearranged it into something else
There's shouting, they fight
Sayaka starts to hate the girl herself
She still cares of course, they were friends before, if not as often as Sayaka'd like, but they were
The hate keeps growing
She catches herself thinking of the girl as pathetic, it feels wrong on some level, perhaps she went too far
It doesn't matter, it's her mind, sometimes you think things you don't mean
It keeps happening
She thinks of the girl as worthless
Thinks that she should have died
Thinks that things would be better if she wouldn't have existed
Sayaka feels sick of herself, it's not like her to think things like these
Something is wrong, she feels it
So she confronts the girl again, for a different reason this time, the girl laughs and tells her
She learns the reason for the burning in her hate
Learns who kept putting firewood into it
Learns who poured the gasoline
The devil cannot hate herself in her rule, cannot be distracted in self pity while her duty is unfulfilled, so she moved her hatred of herself into somebody else

Hey, I'm handing out magical girl artifacts that grant mysterious and untold powers. All I need you to do is choose your element of power. It's-
No you can't all choose darkness. Or shadows. Because either you're joining the bad guys or you're going full chuuni with that option. Pick again.
Crystal? Good stuff, can't fault a classic.
Water? Girl, ok but let's work on that self esteem. Where's your main character energy? Water is sidekick stuff.
Can you- sorry? Did you ask for your element to be *guns?* Are you Rob Liefeld? I don't care what Homura did, you're supposed to be healing hearts and fighting darkness, not capping asses. Back in line.
BDS- wait what?! You can't do that on this show. I don't care what kinds of magical girls you're gushing over! And no whips!
Yeesh. Ok then. Who's next? You want... the endless void? Goddess dammit, no chuuni stuff! You're getting stars.
Who else? You want fire? Just regular fire, not all-consuming hellfire, not flames of lust? Finally! Take two.
Next!
