Hello everyone (is anyone still out there *waves) I have been here in the background all comeback, all throughout the nonsense, the rumours and gossip, the hate, the joy, all of it. I have reported and celebrated and was even lucky enough to go to the 1st London show. I saw this though as I have been reading the most vile rhetoric on another post, and doesn't this just about sum it up? I thought so.

All the hate, all the vileness going on yet again, today, about Jimin 'grabbing' JKs crotch. Taekookers accusing Jimin of abuse, JJKs joing in, PJMS fighting back, throwing girls names left and right, and yet its this.

I know I am putting some random solo on blast, but I don't give a crap tbh, especially not when all of them need taking out at dawn (not sorry). But this statement sums it up. Its not about interactions, its not a problem that JK put his face close to Tae/Yoongi/Hobi/Joon - or sat on his lap, its not about Tae grabbing Joon and looking like they are about to make out, its Jimin. I know we know this, but I was 'mind blown' seeing an actual tweet from solos acknowledging this fact. The self-awareness?

I just want people to see this and sit with it? I know we know as jikookers that this is the case, but I just feel this is....you know I don't even know the words atp.

So its not about them with others, its not about them with other potential partners, or whoever else they have had/have or will have in their lives. Its them. Their interactions hit different. So different. And therein lies the problem.

i mean it is not a problem for jikook, because as far as I can see they are the same and have no issue with themselves (no I am not listening or entertaining any nonsense from weirdos). Their interactions are still as loaded, still as full of intensity, and still obviously hit as SO different to any other, as this JJK (so rightly) pointed out.

(** is JM and * is V - as far as I could decode - and this solo does NOT like V at all, and as a disclaimer, they fully believe that all interactions between members are 'scripted' in some way, but I don't think that takes away from their overall message re jikook).

My quick and furious takes...

Starts with a mirror. The mirrors which obviously point to the reason for NORMAL/LAMRON... two sides to every mirror--reality versus what you see in a reflection with only a limited view of surroundings. The same with camera snapshots. You only see what is in the image where the context of reality is missing. The 360 mirror in the big room is especially true these days, they can't escape being watched, but its still a limited view mirror of reality.

The throw-back/recall imagery is abundant:

They are recalling imagery from their beginnings to their most recent work. It's all connected. Pure genius. There is no way they could have predicted while filming the Spring Day MV that they'd make it this far or become this big.

The set is Decadent-Yet-Tasteful-Luxury-Meets-Decaying-Dark-Somberness. Beautiful but getting old and a bit smothering.

Yoongi shielding his face from the bright light and then later attempting to climb over the gate to escape his mansion (big cars, big rings) but the spikes at the top are too risky.

That scene of Jimin having a pillow fight with the women... play fighting but it is still fighting but with soft weapons. They hit him and he is smiling so he must like it, right? He fights back. Firmly, but gently. We don't really want to hurt each other.

The absolute unedited, unmodified appearance of their faces, their real skin tones, pores and scars... all unhidden by post production editing.

Running up the staircase (of their success), Jimin and Jungkook leading the way.

One thing that has me in a chokehold is the styling. Not a single miss in my opinion... looking at you, Sparkly Shirt. Even the other people in the MV... the woman with the purple shirt is obviously Asian. The non-Asian male person with the red leather pants is shirtless. Purple and red. Diversity.

Just as a tiny reminder, Silver Day is a Korean romantic holiday where couples exchange silver jewelry to signify serious commitment. It is also traditionally considered an ideal time to introduce your partner to your parents for family approval (are we the family being introduced to the partner today?).

And JK has already wished happy Silver day.

Anyway, JK chose to post the Bastille day fireworks that took place on 14 July to the sound of the FULL SONG by Park Ji yoon. A song that is 14 years old atp.

But because it's so old, and because not everyone knows it, well JK wanted to help us, so he literally embedded the lyrics into his clip.

Think about this. He took the time to search the lyrics and then embed them onto the clip that he filmed to time them with the song playing, of course.

Let that sink in.

That is not him just randomly, or even not so randomly, adding to a clip he filmed.

This is him filming the fireworks (on the eve of July 14th in Paris), then adding the song of his choice and editing on the lyrics as he did.

Oh, and he didn't just copy paste those lyrics. Nope.

He literally corrected spelling and spacing errors before adding the lyrics to his clip.

All this creation he posts on July 14th at 1:12 am Paris time.

The fireworks started at 11:00 pm and ended at 11:20 pm Paris time on the 13th.

He filmed , added the soundtrack and edited the lyrics in to post it by 1:12 am.

While in between all of this he also managed to post another 2 clips (the trio clip at 11:16 pm Paris time and the solo challenge at 12:23 am Paris time).

All while making sure this one is the last for the night, posted well into the 14th.

The levels of fame they live with are not NORMAL, even for people in the business, and having any kind of private personal life must take real determination and gargantuan effort.

I may be totally off base but I felt like JHope was reminding them, you've been out of the public eye, in an environment where bros can be bros, but now you are back and the spotlight is about to turn back on at full intensity. He wasn't wrong.

I don't know why JHope decided to post this photograph or how it fits into the bigger picture of their lives on and off stage but I do think they look for ways to be true to themselves and each other which we see in the way they and others around them communicate, quietly, subtlety but decisively.

The enlistment where Jungkook was #59 and Jimin was #60 and how Jungkook would have been the person to submit them for the buddy system and that’s why they’re in the order of numbers they’re in

The point is that Jimin, knowing that he was going with Jungkook, posted that video, and it was heard loud and clear when it was announced.

I don't want to hear any discourse, I just want to enjoy how fucking special and incredible this moment is for Tae. I legit cried putting together all these angles of this moment. It is SO special

OP spent 2 months crafting and making a Yeontan carbon doll to bring to barricade on the concert. JK saw it first and made sure to show Tae, who acknowledged it multiple times through the concert. A staff member helped bring it to stage for him to see at the end of the concert and he was clearly so so touched by this gesture. Yeontan was so special. This was such a touching moment. The way he showed Jin who pet the doll and also gave Tae little sweet pats too. The love here is just so overwhelming. He bowed to ARMY and returned the doll to her, she shared her dream came true with this moment as well.

he went to underground dance competitions, was considered the math god, excelled in the stem field, his dad wanted him to be a prosecutor, has a double black belt in tae kwon do, and studied/excelled in contemporary dance before auditioning for BH

theres a lot more that jimin has done and accomplished, but then you think about how funny he is, how hard working he is, how talented he is, kind and good natured, how he quietly hums to himself, how firm and stern he is, the boundaries he sets, how outspoken he is and his resolution, how gentle he can be, how sassy he is, and how he gives his entire heart to the people in his life.

and how they in turn love him, are obsessed with him and care for him

theres this quiet nature about him and how he wants to be deeply understood and seen past how beautiful he is. he's so complexed.

and I love that little look he has in his eyes every once in a while, that tells you he's a little bananas. that jimin is my favorite jimin, because it reminds you that he's that he's got all these little curiosities that make him, him
