The amount of Christopher Nolan glazers who are complaining about how "The hate for this movie is forced." or "Why can't people simply watch and enjoy a film?!" is kinda funny though. Like bitch, what part of people interested in Greek Mythology who have actually read The Odyssey criticizing Nolan's adaptation is stopping you from enjoying it? If I would get defensive whenever a piece of Media I enjoyed (and I enjoy a bunch of corny stuff) got criticized I would basically have zero interests. In fact I myself criticize the pieces of Media that I like, because at the end of the day it's important to remain objective and think about what you're consuming critically as well. You can simply say: "Yes, this movie sucks but it was fun to watch for me anyway." It's okay, I promise!
