There’s not a lot of people who would call me wise, but I’m so stoked you’re one of the few who would. We’ll see. I’ve got nothing but time after today since it’s my last day on the show, so we can make this happen asap.

Yep, and I’ll be sticking by that declaration, too, if you need me to confirm your wisdom to others. Congratulations on the last show! The day after is always rough, realising you’re not going to the theatre daily anymore, but I’m sure you’ve got plenty of things to occupy your time with, especially with a baby on the way.

Thank you so much! It is, I absolutely did not expect it. Well I came to see him in Atlanta for Valentines, so he picked me up at the airport and brought me to the botanical gardens. There’s this very beautiful bridge he let me to and that’s where he went down on one knee to ask me. 

Who knew our boy was such a classic romantic? I love that. Once again, congratulations. I’ve never been engaged, so I imagine it’s a very bizarre feeling. Good, obviously, but very odd.

That is not fair at all! You get to take your birthday and valentines day and double the love and spoil me. This feels rigged! I do like that February get’s to be our month to make magic and celebrate each other. You better hope she doesn’t turn into one of those kids that wants to bake every day. If she does I could see Loki looking a bit like thor in his fat suit. They really are, I’m so glad they love each other. Bobby is the best big brother and will be repaid handsomely when O starts eating solid food and flips snacks off her highchair for him. He’ll have it made! He does have your best qualities, that’s for sure.

Ha! Serves you right for being born a week after me, darling. This is what you’ll be enduring for the rest of your life now. I’m totally fine with that, as long as it makes her happy. He will definitely be lingering around her high chair for the odd morsel thrown his way, and I can’t wait to see his handsome face looking up at her and patiently waiting. 

Oh my gosh, really? That’s the cutest thing, congratulations! You two make a really sweet couple, and with the little baby in the middle, what’s not to love? I hope that means you had a good holiday.

Thank you, Troye! I think we’re a rather sweet couple, too. Yeah, it was amazing. And Valentine’s Day happens to be between mine and Lizzie’s birthdays, too, so it was a week full of a whole lot of love. 

chilly? seriously you people from the UK have a whole different idea of cold. i have freezed there in a non cute way, let me tel lyou that. nothing wrong, but i gotta admit, i have a lil bit of a problem asking for help. i always end up doing it myself.

It’s colder than Southern California, sure, but it’s a little warmer than New York usually is at the same time of year. Plus we rarely get any snow. This is London I’m specifically talking about. Go north of Manchester, and in Scotland especially, they get quite a bit of snow and it gets more chilly. I’ve always had a problem asking for help, too, darling. It takes a lot of courage to ask, and I don’t possess that level of courage very often. 

Laura: Must be the curls or something haha. Aww, adorable. Look at you two. I love love, have I mentioned that?? That's good. I know it can be a bit nerve wrecking. But I'm glad it worked out! She probably just thinks you look funny ... :P

Laura: Yeah, we well! We're not planning to make too many hours a day so it should be fine. Plus they're all used to travelling around. We should! I'd be down for that :)

Tom: Must be! You might have, I love love too. And I love loving, and love being loved. Well, she's right - I /do/ look funny.

You know me too well, Tommy dear. You best get used to it because this the kind of royal treatment you’ll get on birthdays from now on. Except eventually the cakes won’t be made by me, they’ll be a little more haphazard and covered in sprinkles once O gets in the kitchen and helps me bake for you. You are very welcome, my love. I’m more than happy to celebrate the day you came into the world and made things a little brighter. We do make pretty good company, don’t we? Bobby letting O play with his tail, while he wagged it and she giggled like a maniac, did steal the show though. Those two are the cutest pair of best friends I’ve ever seen. 

I hope you know I’ll be trying to outdo you every birthday. The perks of mine coming before yours is you can’t do anything about it. I can’t wait til she’s old enough to bake, because I’ll eat everything she makes, even if it gives me food poisoning, at first. They are so cute. I’m so glad they get on so well already. Just shows what a good boy Bobby is. Must get it from his dad.

Laura: Must have been around Christmas, yes. Sorry I dipped, I had a lot going on. Aww, look at you being all cute. I love that! Girlfriend, life partner...you love her, that's the most important part. How are Ophelia and Bobby?

Laura: Ah, just packing for a roadtrip from Kansas to LA with my boyfriend, his lil girl and our dogs. I do not know if we'll get there in one piece but we'll try 😂

Tom: No worries, darling! I've been very much the same lately. Cuteness just comes to me naturally. I do, I love her so much. They're amazing! Bobby has adjusted so well to having Ophelia around, although she still gives him a funny look every now and then, which is adorable. Also not to say she loves me most, but also...

Yes, I just heard! But I’m sure Imy won’t mind. She’s known me for years, after all. 

He asked me to marry him last night and I said yes. 

Ahhhh!!! Congratulations! That’s terribly exciting. How did he do it?

You’re completely right, I just wish more people recognized that. Let’s hope not, because I’m having the time of my life doing this so I hope I get more chances. But if Evan is the last role I play on Broadway, then I guess I can’t really complain too much. We just need to set up a day!

Some people take time to come to realisations - at least we’re already wise to it! Definitely a good one to end on, if it comes to it, but I have a feeling you’ll be a Broadway star for a long time. I’m free all the time at the moment, so it’s up to you.

That’s like… the sweetest shit I’ve ever heard. It might not make a load of sense to those not involved, but, it doesn’t have to. As long as you and your little family is happy being that special unit, that’s all that really matters. It’s quite inspiring. And congrats on the “more than friends” realization… I think? Going back to it not making sense, I’m not sure if you meant family or lovers or both, but either way, I think a congrats is owed. For finding where you belong.

That’s the way we both see it, too; if it feels right to us, it doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks. It’s become more of a realisation now! On Valentine’s Day I finally decided that it was silly for us to beat around the bush - we may as well put a label on ourselves, if only to more easily explain our situation to others. So I guess now I have a partner. 

he is 100% right. and i was more like - summer london is more bearable than winter in london, but you’re right, so i’ll just sush. i’m sure it won’t be the first time a old employee is asking her former boss for a job, so i guess we could try.

That is also true - London can get pretty chilly, but rarely enough for it to actually snow. Exactly, especially in our industry, there’s people utilising those connections all the time! Nothing wrong with it. 

I don’t really have any favorites, I just watch them when they come on tv. I have to admit my all time favorite old time actress was Maureen O’Hara. She was not only beautiful but she was such an amazing actress. She even got to co-star with John Wayne.

She was brilliant! I can’t remember the last time I watched one of her films, so I may have to get on that soon. Have you watched many foreign language films from that sort of time, too? There’s some great ones out there.
