Well it might be a better series though it's still my favorite and maybe Imogen might have been an amazing character.

So about the line in book 5 where Imogen says Jaron put her life under threat and made her life awful. I wonder why she was marrying Jaron if she was so afraid of her life being under threat.

My first reflex was to get her dye her hair green for some odd reason. It doesn't last long tho dw
Was reading book 4 and seeing a line of Imogen saying Darius chose Carthya over Jaron and being angry about Jaron wanting to rescue Darius who is his brother.
I wish I could tell her "Are you any different?"
Since in book 5 she was given choices of saving Jaron or the stewardmen and she didn't choose Jaron and rather she chose to marry Castor over Jaron or even exhiled Jaron. If only she knew she would do the same as Darius in the future.
Anyway I never understood why Imogen was so against Jaron trying to save his brother. Wouldn't she do the same for her family? I get Darius was adopted and his character was questionable but what was the point of her stressing on that fact that he isn't Jaron’s brother and trying to stop Jaron from helping him. I don’t think Imogen even talked with Darius before the ending of book 4 and she didn't apologize for the bad things she said to Jaron about Darius.
