I hope I’m wrong, but I can’t shake the feeling that the devil/angel scene everyone keeps sharing from the Yaga trailer is that scene. I know it happened off-screen in the book, but I could see the show depicting it this way instead.

Otherwise, unless they’ve changed the story, I can’t think where else it’d fit. Maybe it’s part of a broader “men have been doing this for millennia” montage?
