OCTOCON BEWARE
TLDR; A pedophile that has admitted to abusing a minor is in the Octocon servers, and the creator of the bot and the moderator team for the servers have stated they will not do anything about it. The Octocon servers allow minors and have minors active in the server.
If you are in a server that uses and has ever recommended a member go to either of the Octocon servers, I ask that you please notify the mod team so that they are aware there is a predator in the servers they are recommending their members to.
A second post with evidence of the discussion with the moderators as well as the pedophile admitting to abusing a minor will be posted at a later time and linked at the bottom of this post.

The creator of Octocon and the moderators of the Octocon discord servers were made aware of a pedophile that sexually abused and traumatized a 14 year old when he was 18 years old. The evidence submitted into a private ticket with the moderators was the pedophile admitting to doing so in a private message with a user that I will keep anonymous.
After over a week of inaction from the Octocon mods, where the pedophile was allowed to talk in the servers with minors and staff members, the moderator team came to the decision that they will allow the predator to continue to use the servers as "The situation is too old and complex for simple moderators on a discord server to judge." I found the inaction of the moderators and final decision disturbing. The fact that this was all handled quietly and server members were not made aware of this decision at all was extremely discomforting to me. I personally have decided to move away from the bot/app and ended my support for it due to the complete lack of care the owner and staff has expressed in regards to member safety by letting a self-admitted pedophile chat with minors in their servers. I reached out to the user who had initially brought up the concerns to the moderator team for permission to make a post about it so people are aware of the situation. The link to the post with all of the evidence will be edited into this post after I receive further permission from the user who first reported the predator in the server.
