Howdy folks, I’m Ghost! This is my blog. As you can see, it’s full of a bunch of bullshit. All I can hope is that you enjoy my bullshit.

I’m a traditional artist that occasionally dabbles in digital, so expect pretty much all traditional art, with shitty camera quality. None of the pictures I ever take are good, so don’t expect otherwise.

Science Side of Tumblr, I have a question about Zombies

Okay so I was thinking about it recently, and the main part of why a human being stops living is because the heart stops working. Before anyone says “it’s also because the brain becomes dead”, I actually also knew that, but that’s because the blood no longer flows to the head, and the heart pumps the blood throughout the body.

Anyways, that begs me two questions. First off, is that why Zombies could be considered “brainless”? Their heart no longer beats, so therefore their head cannot receive blood to allow them to have coherent thoughts, emotions, or movements. Actually, when they’re reanimated, how the hell does that work? Does the heart beat, but just like, way slower??

Second question, if the heart doesn’t beat, then where the hell does the blood go? I mean, based on gravity, I’d only have to assume the feet, right? Does this mean zombies have swollen and red ankles? What if like, the top half of a zombie is pale, but the bottom half is just flushed and red? (Don’t take that out of context you freaks). That also begs the question, what if you turned them upside down? In a few hours, does their brain get enough blood to have coherent thoughts?

Science side of tumblr please help, I don’t know what to do with this information.

Hi there, designer of the Pieces here! You can model your Piecesona after a queen, but functionally, you are the same as every other Piece :] the only limit is you cannot give your Piece a little floating crown + a glowy cape, we’re reserved that combo for the Mods. But making your piece a queen? There is not a problem with that! ^^

(I should add that Mods are the same as all other pieces, they just requested we have a slight visual difference from the other pieces with the little crowns)

hi homie! Congrats on joining us and fucking awesome art! I was sincerely wondering if you could try and do the mods just as there fellas with crowns (like king and queen pieces) I know that it’s not quite my place to ask but your art is just really cool

originally I was going to do everyone as a piece, but I realized A: I don’t know who the other mods are, and B: I don’t know what kind of pieces they would want to be. So I settled on creating some differences between normal pieces, and mod pieces!

Mod pieces aren’t much different aside from giving them little capes, and little crowns. Of course, if you don’t want a little cape or crown, you don’t need to have a little cape or crown! But I decided on making them more QUEEN piece inspired than king piece, mostly because I just liked the shape more. Hope this is what you meant! :]
