I need a very specific Flambert fic to exist. Something like:

I need it like, Chad is having the time of his life being his normal asshole self, and Robert is completely stonefaced waiting for the other shoe to drop where Chad tries to kill him in his sleep or get some kind of amputation-type revenge on him. Not afraid, but tense and stressed and snappy.

as an alien from a planet where gender norms donât really exist, Katon was like a fish out of water during his first pride month. Robert tries his hardest to answer all of his questions, even though most of his knowledge is pretty outdated. Forgive him, heâs bisexual, and thatâs enough for him.
For the first while, nothing changes. Katon seems intrigued by the topic, but eventually moves on. Then Robert starts to notice the way his shoulders hunch when standing in front of the mirror for too long⌠or when a reporter comments on his âmanly assets.â
He confides in Robert one day through tears and explains that he doesnât feel like he fits in, and not just in an alien sort of way. Identities feel too confining, and preferences are too confusing.
It takes some time⌠and a lot more learning for him to understand that he doesnât have to be anything, just Katon is enough.

For real though, I think gender has so many different fun directions depending on how you interpret Katon-Ur's background!
I tend to write him like his first brush with gender was coming to Earth. He gets excited about positive attention for being a handsome man, but it's dulled by being socially punished when he doesn't fit in the box with his actions or wardrobe. So much gender thought in there...
I think part of his struggle would be finally having the option to pursue acceptance from a society, especially when it comes to his looks, and having to decide to rebel for his own happiness. Hard but healing, maybe <3 Happiness over conformity is a choice he hasn't had the opportunity to make, because conformity might not have been an option for him before, being reviled for his looks.
Or is it uniquely Katon-Ur? I think that is also such a lovely concept if the writer or imaginer takes it that way. Something he's always felt and now realizes could have a name, now that he's seen it in humanity. Ough.
The beauty of having a partner who just cares about you and wants to give you a place to exist in the world...
Just Katon is enough <3 <3 <3
