Hi everyone! I’m gonna briefly explain here why I’ve been so quiet on this blog, besides the fact that it’s been made evident to me by friends that my stalker still watches it, which is extremely nerve-wracking, but at some point you have to just move forward and ignore it and hope they lose interest.

I started a business! 

I sell hand-painted ceramics to general stores and art shows and collectives in the area. I’ve even been to different festivals and had booths of my own! It’s been wild how fast they’ve picked up steam. I’ve even sent custom-made mugs to all my RP friends so they’ll have something neat to remind them of me. I have a streaming channel now! 

I’m part of a really cool streaming group of about twenty people that have been very welcoming. Some of them are friends I’ve had since childhood. We do dual streams, co-ops, raids, golf, and all kinds of fun things together. I have a REAL Blue Yeti mic and a Logitech BRIO so I think you can say it’s getting pretty serious haha. I do have a server on Discord that is just for my streaming schedule and announcements, and group play and Jackbox, and anyone is welcome! Just DM me for an invite.

My RP friends are coming to visit 

in April and we are so excited! We have a whole schedule of things lined up to do, all of which include my Bup of course, and video chatting/live streaming with the friends who couldn’t make it. Mostly we’re probably just going to sit on the porch and talk and just bask in each other’s presence and that’s more than enough for me. I love them so fucking much. Apparently I only live like two hours away from one of my best friends in the R&M community so this will absolutely not be the last time this happens. I drive farther than that to take my pets to the vet, haha.

I do readings 

at local libraries for adults and children. This isn’t something I do to make money, at all, but I have a lot of fun doing it. That’s all. Sometimes you need things like that. The kids are wicked cool and understanding that I need for them to wear their masks because I’m immunocompromised. The adults do okay.

I have a writing server 

set up where I use my master’s degree to teach basic writing lessons, provide exercises, and give feedback on your work. We also have an open-mic room where people can go and just put their thoughts into writing, and have people see and appreciate it without giving any criticism in any way, since sometimes you kinda just want to be heard. And, yes, there are RP rooms, and it’s been cool to see people joining in who don’t regularly RP. XD Anyone is welcome in there so DM me for an invite.

I started a postcard campaign 

where I send my RP and IRL friends postcards once a week, with inspirational quotes or just funny messages on them. I have about twenty different addresses that I’m doing now. It’s been a challenge but a really fun one. Basically I bought a box of postcards and decided I was going to make it everyone’s problem. I highly recommend doing the same if you think this time has been really hard and lonely on your friends… you’d be surprised how much getting a nice thing in the mail can mean to someone.

I’ve been sober 

for a year, four months, and sixteen days. I was sober for four years before that, but had a hiccup and had to start over. But I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and I am not letting anything in my life that could possibly threaten it. 

Got diagnosed with combo ADHD!

This was a total surprise, but my stress level has gone down considerably recently, which meant my bipolar symptoms subsided to reveal the real underlying problem. Both my psychiatrist and my primary care physician did the evaluation and were like, “………yeah……..” Haha. Obviously none of the above would’ve happened if not for the lifestyle changes I’ve made to accomodate it. God bless Focalin.
