Ali is currently responsible for his family of 9, including elders and many young children. His family’s business has been destroyed, he has lost countless friends, and even a lover. He tells us that he can still see the girl whom he wanted to marry wherever he looks, and losing her near the beginning of the war was, for him what began the truly horrific aspects of this relentless genocide. When he lived in a camp affiliated with the United Nations, it didn’t exempt him from constant beatings and families being held at gunpoint. Currently, he lives in a makeshift tent and suffers from insects, a shortage of drinking water, overpopulation, and the cold of winter alongside his sick family members. But now, all he wishes is for he and his family to flee Gaza to safety. He has been diagnosed with insomnia for getting practically no sleep as he works to build his campaign and stays at hospitals all day keeping in touch with activists online and helping his fellow Gazans through this unprecedented crisis.

This hardworking man says that he is able to persevere despite such despair because he believes that life loves the strong. We implore you to prove him right and show that all his efforts are not in vain.

Majd's burns are worse than initially thought and Yousef is finding it very difficult to get medications and ointment for his child's injuries. Majd has already been in-and-out of the hospital for practically the entirety of this genocide for his respiratory condition and now he is facing complications or worse because of the burns.
