When you have to hear the story of when your nephew would either live or die. (Cuz that’s when your sis was JUST pregnant) and you were already pregnant with twins 😓😓😓. It was a shit show for sure.

I feel like I’m the only one who does this. I stay awake at night often thinking about the people who aren’t with us anymore. Not just my family or friends but acquaintances or of people on the news. Thinking about their deaths. How one minute they were here then went to run an errand and never got back. About the last conversations I had with some of them. How life goes on regardless. Maybe this is why it has never been hard for me to have people leave my life (that are still alive). Life continues; I try to be present. Nights are for thinking, for escape, for dreams and slumber.
