My friends and I at @strangefellowsstudio are writing a graphic novel! As of right now, the first draft is nearly completed and we're looking for beta readers and editors. We're willing to read other works in exchange, or do small drawings of your characters!

In the city of Luxxon, airships are king. They dominate the shipping industry, the cruises, and the taxis. Ada Burke is set to inherit all of it, an idea she's not exactly comfortable with. One night, she overhears an insidious plot to destroy her family's company and narrowly escapes with her life. Hiding in the slums, she must team up with the Starlings, a group of shapeshifting thieves with the charismatic Magpie as their leader. Will they be able to work together? Can she save her family in time?

Day 02: Lantern / Hand

You watch as a train comes to a stop, one of its doors open. You board the train, not letting go of the lantern.

The train goes on, and the night breeze freezes your cheeks. The sun rises faster than normal and you begin to see hills made of quilts, fast-flowing rivers of needles, spinning diamonds in the air.

Volleys of gemstones begin to rain from the sky, but none of them come inside the car. You stretch out to grab one, but can’t. Determined, you begin to stand, and reach out with both hands.

There is a great bump, and darkness overtakes your vision.

Okay, so I know we’re all pretty sad about AOR being cancelled, but the amount of OC artwork I’ve seen in response is amazing! I thought we could keep it going and support each other with an OC art trade. 

Reblog this post with some information or refs about your oc, and you’ll be assigned another random person who entered to draw (or write a short drabble about) their oc! Anyone can enter! The person who makes art for you and the person you make art for are both completely random, so it should be a fun surprise! The only rules are to have fun with it! (and no nfsw, serious gore, etc)
