Raven chose her career, leaving her daughter to become a rock star with a life of excess, drugs and scandals, now, after having almost died because of her extravagances, she wants to get closer to her daughter after more than twenty years away. Willow left her dream for her family, but at some point, she has settled into a frigid and dreary marriage, her children have drifted away from her, and she lives alone with her bottles of vodka. Two women who made different decisions in life, but both ended up estranged from their families and are now trying to reconcile with their pasts as a feeling grows between them.
