I donβt have any respect for Andy Burnhamβs βKing in the Northβ gimmick, and I donβt think an English politician who aspires to be the Prime Minister for the whole UK should talk about βthe northβ as being the middle of it.
If Scotland becomes independent, he can call Manchester the North as much as he likes. But I will take every opportunity to shit on him until then, especially while he appears to be proposing interfering with devolved parliaments.
I appreciate this might upset some English people who follow me but this is a recurring trend from Andy Burnham where he lumps Scotland in with English regions like Yorkshire and the North-East.
