Monthly Gem Challenge: Benitoite
Just like last month, weāre giving you an unusual gem and challenging you to design a gemsona based on it! You can go as in-depth with your character designs as youād like: come up with their personality and backstory, or just show what you think theyād look like. They can even be a fusion if you prefer; the choice is up to you!
This monthās gem is Benitoite. If you already have a Benitoite gemsona, you can still drop them in the MGC tag, this month is for all Benitoite, old or new!
Gem Meaning: (Note: You can use the gemās meaning to help you come up with ideas for your gemsona, but itās not a requirement).Ā Benitoite is a gem thatās said to encourage happiness and joy.Ā
Cool Facts:Ā Benitoite is an extremely rare gemstone, and itās also the state gem of California. When it was first discovered, Benitoite was mistaken for a variety of sapphire.
