for example, let's start with the analogy of driving. i recommend reading this slowly so it can cement correctly, because i'm using a lot of figurative language. you're in the drivers seat of a car operating the wheel with your hands, your right foot operating the brake and pedal, and your complete focus and gaze at the road in front of you. in order to drive, all three of those components must be implemented, and i will tell you exactly why.

you lose control of the wheel? then the entire frame of your car is veered off to the side as a result, because you're no longer in control of where your car is going. you're in control of the brake (stopping), the pedal (the intensity at which you can go), and your attention, but you have no control over the destination.

this is what occurs when you feel as if you're not in control of your own life. you're observing the direction you're going, and you are controlling the speed, yet internally, you believe you've got no decision over the direction. meanwhile, all you have to do is grip onto the wheel, and steer yourself back into the correct position. all you have to do is reclaim control.

alright, you got that steering wheel issue fixed. now, let's say you lose control of the brake pedal, and the ignition. so you've got a working steering wheel that allows you to steer the car, and your attention is still faced towards what's in front of you, yet you've got no momentum to move forward. you're sitting there in your vehicle, in the middle of the road looking out at your surroundings, holding onto the wheel, but physically going nowhere.

this analogy alludes what happens when we know the direction of the destination we're headed towards; we know how to get there, but we internally self-sabotage movement, and stay stagnant. you cannot stay in two locations at once. you can't stay in the realm of your old life, while constantly looking out towards your desired life because you will continuously be the observer of this other version of yourself rather than just, being them. again, you simply have to reclaim control, and decide, no, i am not stuck here, i am going to continue moving one way or another.

so, now you're moving again, your brake and pedal are all in service. but, let's say you suddenly lose focus. you're driving, foot on the pedal, hands steering correctly, but something either internally, or externally catches your attention and takes you out of the present moment. now, you're caught up in a fog of thoughts that are clouding your perception of what's right in front of you. your attention should be on where you're going, yet it's not.

you know how manifestation coaches will always tell you, your desire is already yours? that's because it's absolutely true, as long as your perception is veered towards that. you've already got the roadmap in your head, you already know exactly what streets you're supposed to turn at, but somethings taken your attention off of that. so, you've got complete control over your vehicle's components, you've got complete control over your destination and where you end up, but your focus isn't intact. now you're irritated because you're lost, turning down towns, asking around for help, and as each second goes by, you're losing more and more patience. with each passing minute, you're growing more tired, and you'd rather just go home than deal with this annoyance. and as an hour passes of your aggravation, you've lost all motivation.

but again, all you have to do is clear your mind, breathe in and out, and reclaim control of where your attention lays. because if you just turned down two more streets, you'd realize, your destination was much closer than you believed.

in the realm of manifestation, many creators, thinkers, and mentors skip over the idea of movement and physical creation. they tell you to immediately rely on the power of your mind to manifest your desires. to robotically affirm, script, listen to subliminals, decide, whatever gets your thought process in the right mind frame. trust me, i get it, whatever is repeated in your mind reflects into your external reality. once your identity shifts internally, your opportunities change externally, and things simply fall into place. but there always just felt like a missing piece to me.

i've been big into manifestation content for years, i followed many manifestation creators in hopes of learning all of their manifestation tactics, and using their guidance as a bridge to help lead me towards my own manifestations. i spent every single night for months listening to subliminals, listening to affirmations throughout the days, scripting, making vision boards on pinterest, etc.

as i got heavier into just simply living life, and realizing that the life of my dreams is already mine, i realized that i've reached the last step of manifestation which most coaches don't speak upon, because if they did, they'd lose their profit, revenue, and traffic.

the last step of manifestation is, complete detachment from these coaches and teachers. for example, when you graduate med school and become a doctor, why would you continue to show up to the classes you needed as an undergraduate? you've already graduated, so why are you sitting front and center in your neurology class ready to take notes?

while it's important to learn about the topic of manifestation and how it works in order to bring about the life of your dreams, once it is already cemented into your brain there is no point to continue studying a concept you already understand. continuously outsourcing content everyday from coaches to give you advice on manifestation when you've already mastered the code just keeps you in the loop of waiting for your manifestations, because rather than embodying the identity, you're still looking for it to appear.

so if you're wondering why your manifestations don't appear, it might be because you're continuously looking up advice from coaches, or other reddit users, on, "how do i manifest?" "how can I make my manifestations appear?" take a break from taking in the knowledge that you already know deep down, trust yourself, embody the version of yourself who already has your manifestations, and let go.

understanding conscious manifestation is simply just understanding how the universe works and not allowing the world to act on your behalf unconsciously anymore. think of manifestation just like learning your ABC's. once you 100% know your ABC's, do you think about how to fully understand the letters anymore, or do you just start reading, writing, and applying the knowledge?

you don't become the woman of your dreams by sitting, waiting around for your external world to show you proof. you become her by simply being her. you're the creator after all, the universe simply follows suit, it's one big game of follow the leader, it follows whatever state you're living from.

you're in the state of laying in bed all day, waiting for your manifestations to appear without doing the work? guess what? the universe is following your lead, so it's waiting right alongside you. you're checking the clock, wondering when your manifestations are going to appear, and so is the universe.

they say "trust the universe", but that only comes alongside trusting yourself. everything is you after all, and everything is connected to you. you're the stars, the sky, the flowers, you're the grandma across the street tending to her flowers, and you're also the young boy riding his bike down the boulevard. you trust the universe, by trusting yourself. because you are the universe, and the universe is you. you are the creator, and the creator is you. you are god, and god is you. you are not separate from anything that occurs around you, simply because your awareness is what makes anything real.

so, if you're aware that you're in a phase of "waiting", why not be aware that you're living amongst your dreams? why not bridge the gap completely, and give the universe absolutely no choice but to act at your command? instead of waiting for your dream job to fall straight into your lap because you know you deserve it, why not give it no choice but to fall into your lap simply because, who else's lap would it fall into? there is no one more capable, more deserving, or more competent than you to fulfill the job. so, why would you wait around for them to discover you on a whim, when you could make yourself known, seen, and recognized simply by showing up? simply by standing there, existing amongst your power, being magnetic, and being your true, authentic self?

the bridge between manifestation for us women comes through the phase of evolving. most of us learn about manifestation, and start the path of gripping onto "princess treatment". allowing the universe to give you princess treatment means standing amongst your power, but waiting for your value to be discerned through material goods, external validation, or even a plethora of men following your command.

allowing the universe to give you queen treatment means standing amongst your power, and waiting for no one, nor anything to tell you of your value, because whether they're present or not, it doesn't determine anything. you validate yourself, nothing external can add value to you internally, because your inner world is unshakable, and untouchable. you set the stage, you decide where your attention goes, because you understand that your attention is pricey. you decide what occurs, you decide the next steps, and you don't allow anything that doesn't match your internal rhythm to take even another second of your attention, because mismatch isn't something you allow.

❝ the princess acts sweet and innocent, she patiently waits for prince charming, and she expects others to do things for her. she has yet to learn to work with her inner power. she foolishly waits for someone or something to save her. her potential is dormant until it's awakened by a life crisis or tough, challenging time. only then she has the opportunity to transform into the queen.

the queen is wise because she has learned from her own mistakes and has faced her inner demons. she has looked deep within herself and as a result, she has become stronger. her power doesn't come from her credentials, unlike the princess, her power is based on knowledge of her heart and mind.

the initiation begins when you hit rock bottom. for everyone, the bottom means something else, yet you know without a shadow of doubt that this is the moment of transformation. don't try to go back to your old life, because everything that you;ve ever dreamed of is on the other side of the veil. once you lift it, you'll see a new path forming in front of you. ❞ - medium
