HOW do y'alls make character with black sclera (the part of the eye that's normally white)? Are you just using the draw feature and drawing ontop? But then when they emote it looks weird and the drawn on part doesnt match.
Slight criticism but only being able to draw on top or below is bothersome. I want to draw scars 'beneath' eyes and the mouth but draw scars or the cut thing (I heard it called a juice but I could be toyally wrong) over the eyebrows but I cant do both a scar under the eye and a scar OVER the eyebrows. Sucks.
I'm seeing warnings about scammers trying to commission artists but the "reference sheet" for their character they want commissioned isn't an image but a .vbs file ("visual basic script"), and will run a script when you open it, probably to yoink your account(s), but I haven't seen this from anyone who's actually clicked it yet. Just be careful and never open a file like that, 'cause people suck.

the new content filters and the flagging system require every reblogger to appeal independently from the poster.
What is happening?
With the latest tumblr content filter updates, every reblog is flagged independently from the original post without the OP knowing. This means that if your post is reblogged by someone and that reblog is flagged, you won't know. The note count will go up, but the note is hidden: you can't see it on the rebloggers blog or any other reblogs branching from the flagged post.
What should I do?
Every reblogger needs to appeal for their own reblogs. Thankfully the review time on Tumblr's side has been fast, usually in a couple of hours they restore the post. If you can notify the OP, grand. If you have time, leave a support ticket, choose feedback and tell them why you think this is a bad model.
Why and how should I do it?
We all know the latest and contested change about the note counts that was thankfully rolled back, but its ramifications are still in use. Tumblr now considers every reblog a post in its own right, as you can see from the new banners for the same post as above:
The turn this website has taken regarding the ownership of posts is at best discouraging and at worst a massive disrespect done to all the artists, creators, gifmakers, fic writers and meta writers out there, making fandom fun and alive. If artists, writers and gifmakers don't get autonomy over their own art being shared on this website, how is a reblog different from a repost, something tumblr actively discourages from doing? How can the OP appeal for a post if they don't even know it's flagged? Why are we taking away ownership of the art from the artist, the human behind it?
How do I appeal?
Tumblr has this very useful feature, both on the website and on the mobile app:
You can find all the flagged posts on your blog either by going to the relevant blog>right hand menu, below Posts, Followers, Activity>Review flagged posts on the website OR by going to Settings>Review flagged posts on the mobile
Then you click on Appeal, and write a very short reason why, describing the post. You can even write this:
This post has nothing that is against the User Guidelines.
I didn't realise how much I missed doing this ;w; I love drawing in mspaint it's great ! And I'm so so proud of this one- it's the best thing I ever did in paint by far
And a speedraw to prove I really made it in paint/to see my process...ect...it's a bit of an eye strain tho so if you're sensitive be careful ! (Especially toward the end when I accidentaly zoomed in then got very confused because I couldn't find the zoom out option fjfjfk)

If you never tried (seriously) painting in mspaint, you should ! It's not as hard as a lot of people say it is, and it's a great exercise in painting (at least if you do it like me) :) it forces you to analyse the colors more because you can't color pick, you can't correct them with like hues or levels and you don't have special layers to help you. But it's still digital art so it's cheaper than to buy real paints and you don't have to mix them or worry about them drying ...ect... It's actually pretty close to my gouache process now that I think about it- but less annoying and hard and nerve wracking (when I was forced by art school to make gouache studies- terrible memories) And at the end you get a mix of digital painting and pixel art ! How fun
Also ! This is heavily based on a reference :) here is the little salmon I used for this !

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.
We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.
In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that, including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.
back a few months ago i redrew all the starting traits for my own use on reference sheets and decided to share them. With the new DLC a bunch of new traits dropped and after waffling on it for a bit i sat down and redrew All of them!

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.
A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.
I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.
