That's great! I'm still working on the appeals process for insurance, but top surgery gets automatically covered when I turn 18 in 4 months so although I'm upset, I'm not gonna have to wait that long. Tbh, I should probably join you in losing weight
That’s awesome it could be soon tho! Yeah I knew a guy who had top surgery at 16 and he said it was really hard and at the time he still had no way to do a hysto before 18. And yeah I’m pretty overweight so he wants me to be below 35 BMI, there a guy codi talks on YouTube and he’s a ftm personal trainer and he gives out a few weeks of personal training free once a month or something so I’m going to try and apply for that and if not try to find some inexpensive options locally to try to lose it
@questingqueer and @insert-math-username thanks y’all, I can’t respond on the post cuz this is a side blog (ps anyone who wants to talk should totally do the ask feature so I can respond directly). Yeah it’s hard but I do really still feel lucky that I’ve been able to move so relatively quickly with this process, I got a date 6 months after I realized I wanted phallo for sure and it was only a year away, and they are making it seem like I won’t have to wait a whole nother year, more like 4-6 months depending how long it takes to lose the weight (which I will really start promptly on after I get out of this cancelation funk )
😔
My surgery got postponed, Crane wants me to lose 40 pounds, I’m supposed to call in June and see if I’ve made enough progress to reschedule.. I’m really bummed out, it was supposed to be in 8 days :/ luckily I already live in Austin so I only had to cancel the dog sitter and I got a full refund. I know in the long run it’ll be better for healing once I lose the weight but for now I’m just really sad. I was getting everything ready and stuff hours before I got the call. I probably won’t post on here so much until I have better news, for now I guess just more stalking phallo blogs and losing weight.
~3 weeks away!
Super nervous/excited, finally got everything worked out with my letters and found out my insurance will definitely cover it thank god. Ordered like an insane amount of stuff on amazon that I’d been adding to my save for later since I got my date, once I have everything I’ll post a pic/list.
Oh and because of an annoying chain of events the person who was going to take care of me that I’ve had confirmed for 6 months suddenly couldn’t, so my mom is coming instead. It’s not that big of a deal but it’s irritating so close to my surgery day. Also my best friend can’t/won’t come see me before or during my recovery which is kinda annoying, but it’s partially not his fault so I’m just trying not to be mad.

If you follow this blog and I can’t tell you are a transman/nonbinary/etc. person when I look at your blog message me or you’ll get blocked. What do you expect if I see some random porn blog or what seems to just be a cis person follow me I’m going to assume you are a fetishizing asshole because you do not need this info, it’s for people interested in the surgery I’m having.
Just wondering
I’ve never heard anything about this but if your arm hair gets transferred to your dick do the sweat glands go also? if anyone knows let me know, I have sweaty arms so I wonder if I’ll have a sweaty dick lol
2 months away
The closer it gets the more anxious I get. It’s like going on a roller coaster, the closer to the front of the line I get the more my mind starts racing.
Just in the last few weeks I’ve heard about 4 different guys who went to Crane recently who all had complications ranging from serious to life threatening. Sooo of course that’s all I can think about now..
Also I ended up doing self pay with him and I didn’t know you needed the 3 letters if you did self pay, until they tell me now 2 months away that I was supposed to have them in 4 months before surgery. So I’m scrambling to get all those, and because I just moved they want one from my current and former hormone provider, so it’s 4 letters total.
Wish I could turn my brain off, and really really wish I could have a cigarette again, and I quit 2 months ago, fuck I thought it was supposed to get easier

Does anyone know of any piercings you can get post-Phallo?
I know a PA would be an issue with an already at risk urethra but like maybe along the shaft or the balls?

Got a new electrologist
Since I moved I had to find a new electrologist and last week I had my first appointment :) And it is so much better! The new person doing it is a part of the electrolysis association of Texas (don’t remember the actual name) and used to be their president. She told me that the person I was going to before was using a really old machine (like 25 years old apparently because it still had dials instead of a digital interface) so it hurts a lot less. The bumps go away in a few minutes instead of hours and the scabs are going away in a few days instead of weeks. It costs about twice as much but I feel a lot better about it and I think it’s going to get done more efficiently now. So if you’re getting electrolysis soon you should check out the machhine they’re using, this newer one has a metal handheld thing that completes the circuit or something and it uses precise pulses of electricity instead of a foot petal. Also after there’s a metal stick thing that she uses to push this healing cream into the skin with electromagnets or something (it mostly went over my head when she explained it but it feels nice lol)
Also I’m about 4 ½ months from surgery!!! :D
I had my second session with her today and honestly it’s still pretty painful, but like more comparable to my tattoos rather than more painful like with the previous electrologist. It seems like she’s covering a lot more area and doing so quicker than before, so here’s some pics for comparison, the first is the old electrologist ~2 hours after vs the new one ~2 hours after. Also the new one sprays 10% lidocaine before (that I did learn today she buys from Mexico and I’m not 100% sure she’s allowed to use on someone other than herself after bringing it into the country, but I’m glad for it, 5% was the most I could get even with a prescription before) and I asked today if I could take some Tylenol or other mild pain killer beforehand which she said is ok (I hadn’t before because I figured it was like a tattoo kind of where you can’t use some otc drugs because they cause more bleeding and swelling) so I’ll probably take something beforehand from now on.

5 months away
And to celebrate here’s a list of stuff I can’t wait to do after I get my new dick:
Swing it around like a helicopter
Use a urinal
Go commando in sweats and see who looks
Sexy time ;p
Walk around in boxers without worrying about someone seeing me (anymore than the next guy)
Go to a nude beach
Go to a nude spa
Go take a shower at the gym
Pee outside and not worry about going on outdoor adventures with the guys
Get hit or walk into something at groin level and not having to pretend to be in pain lol
Just hold it in my hand and squish it
I have been taking a break from electrolysis because of financial reasons and I wanted to see how it looked without all the scabs and grown out a bit, so it’s been about 2 months and it’s looking good, the first pic is my left arm where I’ve had it and the 2nd is my right arm for comparison. I think about 60% of the hair is gone, and Im not going to be worried if I don’t have 100% off by March anyway, I can always do it after. And the last pic is my donor arm compared to a normal size bottle of water because I have pretty long forearms (especially compared to guys who’s arms I’ve seen after this surgery it seems) and Dr. Crane said that plus me being kinda chubby will hopefully equal a big and long phallus which is what I want. I have about 6 months left before surgery and right now I’m kinda worried about getting this insurance stuff figured out, it’s complicated but there’s a decent chance I won’t be covered and then my plan B is to do a payment plan. Which I couldn’t even do that except my mom says she’ll be able to help me with the payments if I need it. Just know there’s no way I can let this surgery date go, I heard a few weeks ago that right now he’s booking out to at least march 2019 unless he can get more OR time in the hospital. I’m planning on moving to another state and applying to graduate school after my surgery so I feel like I’m stuck right now waiting and I can’t be stuck another year. On the cheerier side I think I’m going to be moving to Austin soon, I figure it will be easier than staying in an air bnb for a month and driving a ways to all my post ops after. Also where I am is a stressful environment and my job here is not paying me enough to save up for this shit, so if anyone on here lives in Austin and has some helpful info on jobs/housing there message me please :)
Ps feel free to message me if you have any questions or are having phallo soon too and wanna be surgery buds 😋
*just a little disclaimer
I get quite a few private messages on here, and I’m very very happy to help with providing as many recourses as possible if you need them - however, if you ask me for help whilst in the same sentence talk about other results you find being unattractive, bad, ugly, too this, too that, then I’m a lot less likely to want to help.
The results you’re talking about could be mine, they could be a friends, they could be one of your friends, not that that matters, but I just think it’s very unnecessary to make unkind comments about someone else’s body that they have put online for the sake of education. I’m not saying you have to love every single surgery result you find at all, I’m just saying you don’t need to vocalise your opinion on someone else’s body (especially on a part they have no control overl!!), if it is a negative or one.Â
If you really feel like you need to talk about their body then please do so as if they were in the room.Â
Well said and Ditto

I wish there was more to do than wait
So my surgery is in less than 10 months now, it feels like it's an eternity tho, I only had to wait like 3 months for top surgery. I'm doing electrolysis every other week now, I'm hoping to finish a while before my surgery, I really don't want to have to do any (or more than a few sessions more) after. I got a new job bartending which is pretty fun, and only two more months till I graduate with my bachelors. I feel like my stage one is going to feel even better than graduating though. I feel like all these accomplishments keep getting overshined by the impending surgery (I've lost 25 pounds so far this year too) and after I do have all the stages and am healed up I don't know how I'm going to feel. It's hard to imagine wanting something so bad as I've wanted my dick for so long, other than maybe like an LTR and family. There's also nobody for me to talk about it with right now, I'm living in kind of a remote area with family to save up money until my surgery, and my closest friend is unreachable by phone for a while. It also doesn't help that getting laid out here is a chore, the nearest guy on Grindr is always like 20 miles, and I hardly ever even try to get with girls anymore because they're even less likely to be ok with what I've got downstairs than men who sleep with men most of the time it seems. Well that's all for now, hopefully it'll get easier once I'm done with school and I can focus on working and my side business which I haven't been able to get off the ground yet being so busy.
How it looks a couple days after (my second electrolysis treatment), but the person who did it said everyone heals differently. Nobody has, but I've decided if a random person asks about it I'll say it's poison ivy, but if a coworker or someone like that does (I'm not out there for now) I'll say it's a skin condition thing and play it off, because it's going to be there off and on for the next year. I hurt a little more this time but I did the full hour instead of 45 min, next time I'm getting lidocaine. It sucked at work yesterday because I scraped my arm against some wood at work and like ten spots started bleeding a tiny bit, but no one noticed. Also less than 11 months to surgery day :0
