Chapter 133 was such a tear-jerker that I lowkey lost all hope for RokuBeni (TOO MANY DEATH FLAGS) 🥲 ISTG... THEM MORPHING INTO A KAIJU SPIRALED ME INTO DEPRESSION ASDFGHJKL;

BUT. SENSEI CAME THROUGH WITH THE ENDING! 🎉

For starters, Hikaru is such a lovely boi, I mean JUST LOOK AT HIM

Rokuro's genes didn't even TRY lmao, little boi inherited all the Adashino sass from his mum and uncle

Having Mayura as a mentor for Hikaru was actually the PERFECT choice. Seigen, Arimori, Shizuru or anybody else wouldn't have had much of an impact on Hikaru personally in terms of his training or development but Mayura knew both of his parents pretty well herself. I also think it's a really great parallel between Rokuro as a kid and Hikaru since they were/are both trained by the Amawakas + Also highlights how much Mayura has developed as a character at the end of the story.

AND RINGO GOT MARRIED AND HAS A KID?! MAN, after looking at those panels I was missing RokuBeni so much... 10 years passed and SOOOO much has happened and they couldn't witness any of it :'( 💔

I think it's the only way they could actually save them considering there's no other option.
