Suehiro Maruo (1956-) is a Japanese EroGuro artist known for, like other EroGuro artists, mixing horror, surrealism, and eroticism into his art. His work often features disturbing, grotesque imagery, exploring themes of violence, obsession, and the macabre, and takes a lot of inspiration from mystery writers.

Maruo first got his big break in the 80s creating manga for Garo Magazine and Shōnen Magazine, where he serialized the manga “Mr. Arashi’s Amazing Freak Show,” which is the source material for his controversial 1992 anime “Midori: The Camellia Girl.”
