Subject 0378: Margaret Madison Operative in Charge (OIC): Irina Vasilievna Morozova Task: Margaret Madison is a recent defector from the United States (NASA) to the Soviet Union (Star City). Monitor her communications, her activity in her apartment, her behaviour on campus. Note any irregularities and possibility of espionage. MEDIUM PRIORITY.

Report 01 [February 1971]

Madison moves into her new apartment in Building 17 at approximately 1400. Little ambient noise of luggage and belongings – Madison has completed her move at 1420. At approximately 1500, a man arrives – he knocks three times on her front door. Madison opens the door and greets him warmly – she refers to him as Chief Designer.

“All settled in, Margo?”  

“Didn’t take me long.”

"In all of this emptiness — this is a whole bunch of nothing, this thing we call the universe — you have this oasis, this beautiful place that we get to exist together. I think, as we go into Easter Sunday, thinking about all the cultures all around the world, whether you celebrate it or not, whether you believe in God or not, this is an opportunity for us to remember where we are, who we are, and that we are the same thing, and that we've gotta get through this together."
