"you didn't think to call or text me months ago to tell me that?" her chest rose and fell. "so you're here to help your dad move and then what? you'll be gone again?" this wasn't like alara to have such a cold shoulder, but years of anger and sadness came pouring out of her. she felt like this was a fever dream.
