Something Something about the Uchiha curse of hatred being a curse of love and even the most "evil" and "villainous" of the Uchiha (Madara, Obito) unlock their sharingan protecting those they love not from a place of hatred. Madara unlocks his 1st tomoe turing his back on Hashirama to protect him. Sasuke unlocks his 2nd tomoe protecting his team from Zabuza and Haku. Obito unlocks his protecting Kakashi and Rin. Not to mention the whole idea of the MS. I love how much Kishimoto reinforces that the sharingan are truly the eyes that reflect the heart.

I think the part about narusasu that makes it hit like crack is the fact that it is the narrative, especially in part 2. The story is focused on them and their relationship, the 1st thing naruto does when he gets back is go on a mission for sasuke. Every other mission is a sasuke retrieval mission. Half of sasukes decisions in throughout the story are based upon naruto. And the final nail in the coffin is that the story ends with them, not with naruto becoming hokage or getting married. Its complete because naruto and sasuke are together again.
