“Don’t bother thanking me.”

Saix stopped in front of a door and began fishing a set of keys out of his coat.

“I know you fake your camaraderie with the others, but you can save your breath with me. I don’t particularly care either way.”

The door opened with a click, and he entered the room. It was vaguely dark, but Saix didn’t bother with a light, as he knew where everything was. He steadily walked to the main desk and opened one of the drawers, removing a slip of paper from it.

Shutting the drawer, he turned around and silently handed the blank report to Xion.She didn’t seem as surprised by the room as he had expected. Curious.

“I--” Xion wanted to protest, but she stumbled over her words as soon as she started to say anything. Of course, she couldn’t have expected anything else from Saïx, as she knew he was adamant about the fact they had no emotions. But everything she felt with her friends, on the clocktower... she knew she didn’t imagine it. In the end, she just muttered, practically to herself. “It’s not fake.”

When Saïx handed her the blank report sheet, Xion nearly thanked him again, but she stopped herself this time. “Um... do you have a pen I can use?” Instead of thanking him, she realized she had nothing with her to write with. It was all in her room, where she’d planned on doing her mission report. The way things had turned out, actually coming to the office with Saïx of all people, had definitely not been what she expected.

Another recon mission, but this time, the mission description had even less to give her than usual. Just a vague idea about the presence of a new world, and she was somehow supposed to find it. She certainly found some world, though she supposed she wouldn’t know if that was the right one until she got back to report on her findings. In the world she happened to find, she came out of the Dark Corridor into a field of flowers. A forest stood to one side, giving off some rather ominous vibes.

She didn’t have time to take in much else, however, because soon after her arrival, some more of those strange creatures appeared that she’d first seen at the magic tower. Xion had forgotten the name of them already, but she summoned her Keyblade right away. “They’re here, too, huh…”

“Why don’t you quit!?” The brunette said, panting and slamming his weapon on another enemy.

One last Unversed remaining. A rpoud smile appeared on the Keyblade wielder’s face, he was happy that this long fight was finally coming to an end. He quickly ran towards the enemy, but the latter escaped, running the other way, out of the forest.

“Hey! We’re not done yet!”

Terra followed the Unversed and ended up in a new area, way lighter than the dark woods and with lots of flowers on the ground. Someone else was also there, a young girl with dark hair, wielding a weapon, trying to fight the Unversed as well.

Terra was in a dark forest, fighting against a bunch of Unversed. He was hitting them with his Keyblade, trying to avoid their attack as much as possible, but he was slowly starting to get tired.

“A Keyblade!?” The brunette gasped, he didn’t expect to meet another Keyblade wielder here. He shook his head, coming back to Earth and ran towards the Unversed.

Xion heard someone approaching from the forest she’d noticed, but she could hardly glance at him before having to turn her attention back to the monsters. She did notice, though, he seemed to have a Keyblade, too. Another Keyblade wielder? It didn’t seem that common, the way the Organization talked about this power, and yet...

Once the creatures were all defeated, she breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look at the wielder who had joined her.

Aaaah [he said letting out a proud sigh] You are such a smart bean! You never cease to surprise me! So well [ he said putting a finger on his chin,thinking] what if,we enter quietly let my water dudes distract the heartless and then you search for the big one while i keep the others occupied? A water dude can go with you so, when you find it, ill be ready to go help![he said surprised by his own plan, he never has to think cause…well…he manages to get other people do his missions while he just vanishes]

[ As they walked up the incline toward the clocktower, Xion listened to Demyx’s plan. ] We could try that. I’ll have to take out some Heartless, too, to collect hearts for Xemnas, but at least if we split up we can search more area that way. [ When they arrived at the base of the clocktower, no large Heartless of any sort appeared, but quite a few smaller ones did. ] Let’s take these out quickly so we can head into the tunnels!

[He made his sitar dissapear and smiled impressed] Hey!!We do make a nice team!![he messed the girl’s hair and laughed pretty satisfied with the result of their fight] You are a competent little fella, also you dont put excesive pressure on me to do things and thas super cool [he grabed a thing from his cloack pocket revealing to be a sherlock-like magnifying glass] [he also put his hood on and started to be a lil goof as usual] so [said searching with the magnifying glass] where do we start with our big final boss huh? The Station’s Clock Tower?The Struggle Square?Maybe one of the tunnels??[said thinking] here [he approached Xion a tiny notebook with her name and cute drawings on it] take it a a gift, now you’ll be my Watson, LETS SEARCH THE SHIT OUT OF THIS WORLD![he said excited about it]

[ At all of Demyx’s theatrics, Xion ended up laughing and grinning. He may not be the best at fighting, but at least he made the mission pretty fun. She tucked the notebook away in a pocket, though, knowing it would get in the way when the next Heartless showed up. ] I think we should probably check out the tunnels first. A lot of the more powerful Heartless do seem to like hiding there. [ She paused before beginning to lead the way toward the clocktower. ] If we head up to the tunnel entrance number 5, by the clocktower, we can check that area on our way into the tunnels!

[Demyx shrugged his shoulders and kept the coupor for himself as he left the mail in a safe place] I keep saying they send the wrong fucking guy to fight, im an observer i watch [he let out a deep sigh] at leas im not with the mad cientific bitch again, instead im with the best girl [he said happier]  also you owe me an icecream so [he started to play his sitar softly and then violently as the heartless kept coming] [his melody resembled a war orchestra and lots of water demyx started to gather around the heartless killing them one by one ]

[ Relieved to see Demyx finally stepping up to fight alongside her, Xion continued taking out as many Heartless as she could. Ideally, she should have been landing the finishing blows so she could collect the hearts, but realistically, there were too many of them for her to manage that for every single one. ] Almost there! [ Once all the Heartless were taken care of, she breathed out in relief and smiled at Demyx. ] We actually make a pretty great team! [ She put her hands on her hips, proud of the two of them. ]

“We’re going to the office. I’m assuming you haven’t got a copy of the report sheet yet, and I just gave my last spare to Demyx.”

Saix continued on down the hall, before taking a right. He hated taking unauthorized personnel down here, but they way Xion was acting, he was afraid if he left her alone she’d slip off on him. And then he’d never get that report.

“Oh,” Xion spoke in barely more than a whisper, as she probably should have figured that much. Saïx was right, though, that she needed a copy of the form. At least he didn't seem to think she should have known where they were headed.

Continuing to follow her superior down the halls, some of them started feeling familiar. For a moment, she thought back to the first time she’d been “awake,” when she had to go perhaps to the very same office for... something. What that was, she didn't remember. The fact that she vaguely recalled previously going there at all surprised her. She hardly remembered any of her early days in the Organization, nothing until she really started working with Roxas.

Demyx laughed a bit, finding the situation funny as hell.“Oh my hearts Saix you are some stubborn cow aren’t you?Listen to the girl,she is smart enough to see that you are NOT in shape to get to you room alone… or even walking so, for once, let us rescue a ” Princess of the Moon Heart" an take you there shall we? “ He said with a prince-y like tone in his voice.” Oh Xion here help me with this" With his head he pointed at his coke and Saix’s notebook for the missions so the girl could grab them ad help him take the boss to his room.

Saix ground his teeth together. He knew he couldn’t argue with these two at this point, they’d both seen far too much. Maybe he could get rid of them later. Who knows.

“Even if I did tell you what was wrong,” he growled, “I doubt either of you would know. Last I checked, neither of you are scientists.”

Xion alone, he could deal with. As aggravating as she could be, she was at least trying to be nice about this. Demyx and his quips, however, were pushing him to his last nerve. Considering he couldn’t even feel joy, he was enjoying this far too much.

Following Demyx’s indication, she picked up the drink and Saïx’s notes and began leading the way down one of the halls, gesturing for Demyx to follow.

“We might not know what's wrong, you're right,” Xion said in response to Saïx’s comment. “But isn’t it better to let us try to help? One of us might know something!” She didn't think she would know too much, as she hadn't exactly been sick before, but she was hoping Demyx might have an idea from his life as a Somebody.

If she could have asked for anyone’s help, she would have asked Axel, but he was likely asleep by then. Plus there seemed to be some extra tension between the two all the time. The best thing for the time being would probably be to help Saïx the best she could with Demyx. She hoped whatever was bothering him wasn't too bad.
