.DISTRACTION

GOD IM FINALLY SO BACK last week i renewed my internet contract and the useless ass salesman cut my internet. and then it took me a week to get it fixed. because everyone except the last lady i talked to from customer service was useless. but now all is well and my internet is so fixed and i couldn't be happier.

I did take the time of no internet to finally finish a book i've been reading for over two years which is exciting because this means i can start a new physical book. that is not an immediate choice though because i'm looking to lock in and listen to Read Dangerously by Azar Nafisi this week in whatever time i have between work and rally portugal.

excited for worlds starting next week... what are we thinking with the no updates on tumblr's reblogging rehaul by the way? should i keep waiting? i feel like if i start posting gifs again they'll suddenly slam in with updates but it's been so radio silent ever since they rolled back the change. i don't doubt i might wanna make gifs from worlds but idk what my plan is about posting them. please let me know if you have any thoughts i'd love to hear them...

last week i babysat my nephew for the first time and it was interesting. i'm not particularly good with kids, i don't really like children but he's almost eight so i was confident that we'll manage. and we did. we watched three really bad movies, learned some new words from a nature doc (his mom speaks swedish and he's in a swedish language school so i think understandably bigger words like "territory" are new) and i did let him eat as much cottage cheese as he wanted to so. it was good. and my brother was super thankful and considering our complicated relationship i think that was a win :)

got bloodwork done AGAIN this morning and next week i'm sure a nurse will once again call me semi-panicked that my iron levels are low and i'm gonna have to tell her 90s is so normal for me and yes i know it's lower than recommended but i'm on supplements again and don't worry about it...
