I feel like you might be misunderstanding what anecdotal evidence means? This is fairly obviously not just personal testimony. OP is referencing the widespread displacement of indigenous peoples as a result of the land acquisition requires for grazing land and growing animal feed. This is a well documented, demonstrable fact, it isn’t an anecdote.

it’s literally the foundation of american agriculture…. like it’s one of those things that is so omnipresent it’s beyond absurd to call discussion of it anecdotal. on top of that, there are many recent studies and records (a simple google away i might add) that show that 41% of all land in the USA is used for livestock production. who’s 41% of the fucking land do you think they took? how can you pretend to care about the stolen land of the indigenious people yet vehemently defend the ways it is now used? how can you support an industry that was only able to survive with the subjugation and continued genocidal efforts from the most powerful western imperial war machine ever?

It’s WILD because indigenous people have been saying all of this for literal decades, but the Meat Eaters Resistance™️ (read: people who cling to exactly what they have always done, exactly how they’ve always done it with a death grip) who feign concern so they can use indigenous people as props for an argument that doesn’t represent them have never once in their lives actually sought out the work and opinions of the groups they so loudly “care about” lmao

The thing is, animal agriculture has so many negative effects. This is such a strong example of the many issues with the current food system, and it is one of so many things veganism can help prevent. Indigenous people are losing their land. We are losing our forests and our planet. Animals are losing their lives. You are free to do what you want and eat what you want, but if you care about issues like this, veganism is such a wonderful solution. It isn’t my or anyone else’s place to tell you what you have to eat, but these are the facts.
