Overall theme for this week's course is to explore ways in which to make Copenhagen on the forefront of tourist experiences.
In Foreign Natives we settled on Local Knowledge as our focus area for the Service Design project. The term 'Local Knowledge' defines the tacit, implicit knowledge about sites/services in Copenhagen City, that is not available to obtain in traditional tourist guides.
We formulated three research questions to be further explored:
How do tourists find local knowledge?
How do locals share their insights?
What information is being exchanged?
We have listed a lot of places to go do our research, Tourist Centres, CafÊes, Strøget, Parking Lots, etc. Tomorrow we'll decide where to go.
