honestly, this movie was a more accurate depiction of college than any other college movie I’ve seen

God, he just tried SO SO hard when he first met John, all suave and polite and smooth and gentlemanly. Oh Sherlock!! Look at the corners of his mouth as he opens the door for John in the first gif and politely waits for him to psychosomatically limp his way up the stairs. His eyes drop to the limp, but he doesn’t comment on it a second time, politely suppressing the thought. He just wanted John to like him SO MUCH.
