Still a great article in Doris #29 on being a queer and dating straight; This really resonates with me, having been with people of different genders, but ending up being married to a straight cis male. I've definitely felt uncomfortable in queer-majority fests, shows, etc and that makes me pretty sad. Even the queer community needs to remember not to label people based on what they see. 7 months today! Where does the time go? In the past week or so, she's started crawling (more or less), AND got 2 teeth! It so exciting watching her grow and learn. But of course, the more independent she gets the more I miss my sweet little newborn. She's very stubborn and determined (just like her mama!), but is also the sweetest little thing. Day 2 of wren napping in her floor bed (ie pack and play mattress and some quilts)! She was napping on our bed, but she's so active now I was worried she'd roll off and kill herself. Ahhh!!! #4monthsold already, as of today! Still a petite little lady , but the Dr. said she's a little ahead of the game as she just started rolling over yesterday! Back to front only so far, but how wild is that?! She loves to smile at people, and she thinks her Dad and I are pretty hilarious. This month shes outgrown her bassinet and now sleeps in her pack and play next to me, and she's just ended her 4 month sleep regression (glad that's over!). The way they hurriedly stitch you up leaves an indent in your stomach where the skin is anchored to the muscle wall, and your skin and any fat you have hangs over it.
