i think its great that they made a clone horse to try to aid in restoring the population of a critically endangered species and i also think it’s great that the clone horse is just a little baby who, by virtue of being a horse, will literally never know or have to worry or have any kind of existential crisis about being cloned from a frozen horse that died like 40 years ago.

if you tell a human that they’re cloned from some guy who died you’ll just give them a psychological crisis about the meaning of their existence, a horse literally has no concept of anything besides eating food and running around and is therefore impervious to being inflicted with psychological damage by means of philosophical pondering
