Having ideologies that have literally zero traction or even the capacity to gain traction in the real world seems to be the common link between social media people and people who played too many historical strategy games. Both also emerge from spending too much time in front of an electronic device.

I think it's extremely funny people put together an entire callout Google doc of me and haven't realized yet that callouts don't work on people who don't feel they've done anything wrong and don't care about being popular online. Gotta commend the effort on this thing that accomplishes so little, that I literally can completely forget it exists by simply not opening an app on my phone. It would literally hurt me more if you figured a way to corrupt my Dark Souls 3 save file.

Social media seems to be an attempt to actually produce a social system organized under the ideology of "anarcho-authoritarianism".

I think it's very interesting that among the cavalcade of bullshit yesterday, one accusation was "you're a sex pervert because someone you were mutuals with was actually into really problematic porn" and I just wanna know if people are aware that I have no reason to know every single fetish that someone I follow is privately into, I don't quiz people on their sex life before I follow them, and I am in fact extremely disinterested in such information. I think if you expect me to know these things you have worms in your brain.

I think it's very interesting that so many statements that begin with "you literally said" them go on to express the direct opposite of what was actually said. It seems that the linguistic drift of the word "literally" has moved the meaning towards "on opposite day".

I think every time somebody refers to my posting as "my activism" I get a feeling of surreality like wait when did the idea of "posting is activism" stop being an ironic joke we told each other to make fun of the inherent fruitlessness of online endeavors

I think if I got myself fully cancelled on tumblr I would simply keep posting to an ever diminished audience of like 50 people and be okay with that, but unfortunately reducing my follower count that much is a long ways away.

You know in the end what really extended this discourse for so long was the fact I was expected to take in good faith somebody who had already previously engaged in a concerted attempt to pedojacket me for literally no reason and who was actively going out of his way to read everything I said in the worst faith imaginable. It seems people got really incensed that I refused to do that.
