As most of you know, I’m severely disabled and majority bedbound. However, my condition has improved enough that I can tolerate more activity. However, I’m still unable to walk or be upright for long periods without risking harm to myself. This is where I need your help!

I was assessed by my healthcare team and we all agree a custom power wheelchair will greatly benefit me and allow me to regain some independence. The only caveat is that my insurance only covers $2,300. The power wheelchair I need was quoted at $28,745.

There’s no other funding I qualify for or that’s available to me where I live (most times my partner and I barely make the month on the income we have). Because of that, my partner has started a fundraiser to help me get the funds I need to get the wheelchair.
