The recent revelations of the (alleged) predatory “misconduct” of several high profile, powerful men highlight the fact that it is well past time for ALL of us to vociferously CONDEMN and no longer tolerate the obnoxious, entitled, lecherous, sexist, misogynistic, disrespectful, selfish, harmful and CRIMINAL behavior of many men in the workplace, classroom, sports arena, household, etc. Abusing authority, making threats and physically intimidating, and even assaulting others has to be immediately called out and punished rather than glorified as some measure of machismo or swept aside as the naughty adventures of precious children. The heinous objectification of women is entrenched and often celebrated in our culture. Boys receive the offensive, dangerous message that ogling, groping and controlling any woman they choose is acceptable, entertaining and crazily, their right. They are encouraged to remain immature and to seek out self gratification at the expense of others. Outrageously, each new generation of girls, no matter how accomplished, kind, intelligent, giving, or successful faces the additional risk of being damaged by the scourge of internalizing the noxious notion that our worth is equal to our attractiveness as judged by odious males. This all must stop NOW. We cannot stand by in silence and the smug, deplorable perpetrators must face severe CONSEQUENCES. Period.

So exhausted from being female. More accurately, so frustrated with males.
