Being a super star was not easy and time slipped away from his hands like grains of sand.
Too many duties even during the Christmas holidays, because everyone required his presence. Mettaton had interviews to do and shows to prepare, he was so busy with his job that his social life was drifting away and he had not even the time to dedicate to himself or to relax.
For this reason, it could happen that sometimes he could ignore some of his friends but it was not his intention and he always sent to them messages of apologies and greetings because he did not want them to think that he forgot about his friends, especially if that person was you. Mettaton felt so lonely and guilt these days because he desired to pass this Christmas with you but maybe it was not possible because of his job.
The fact that he was not available all the time was a reality so difficult to accept for you and you missed your lovely robot so much. Spending your Christmas alone was not what you asked to Santa Claus. You were conscious that Mettaton had responsibilities and he could not disappoint or abandon his audience that wanted to spend this Holiday with him, and maybe you were designed to do the same, enjoying his company through a TV screen.
It was the night of the 23 of December and the doorbell rang, you were not waiting for anybody since it was not Christmas yet and you should have seen your family the next day.
With curiosity, you reached your door noticing that the mail carrier left something in your mailbox; it was a letter so your hopes and interest reached the vast sky and your eyes started shining more than a comet when you read the senderās name. It was Mettaton. Your beloved robot.
Obvious, he did not forget about his precious darling and this letter was only a tasting of all the surprises he prepared for you for this Christmas because he would have never forgiven himself for have spent this Christmas without you and anything in this world mattered more than you did. Ā
Holding his letter next to your heart, smiling like a little child, you took a place on your sofa, opening the letter and you could not wait a moment more to read it. You were sure the words that were written on this delicate and fine paper were full of life and good news. Mettaton was not the kind of person who loves giving you worries and, the rare moments he did, he tried to be more sensitive possible not to break your heart and all his letters have always been pieces of art. His letters were so deep and sweet, he was able to reassure you and rise your morale even with the simplest words, and he never failed in this. Proof of the fact that you were smiling ear to ear without have already read it.
His calligraphy was so elegant and refined that it seemed coming from another epoch and this thought made you giggle. Then, you started your reading, your luminous eyes travelled through the lines, and all the world could disappear right now since you were very concentrated.
It is snowing, while I am writing this letter and I think of you.
Outside, happy children are playing with the snow and couple of lovers walk across the decorated and illuminated streets. Everything is so lovely and special but I do not feel so cheerful.
I miss you so much, darling. I want you to be here by my side because all of this splendour has no meaning without you. I am surrounded by all those lights, riches and beautiful furniture that even a prince would be jealous of me but I feel unsatisfied because it is not enough. The most important thing is missed. This thing is you, my beloved.
Seeing your pretty face would be the most precious Christmas gift for me and I cannot wait a minute more that this day to come so the two of us can spend these magical days together.
Yes, I am glad to confess you that I will be your Christmas gift, too. Because I am coming and I hope that I will be able to film all these TV programs for the Christmas Eve. I do not know when this letter will arrived to you but I hope this news can make you smile and do not miss me too much!
This letter is not the only surprise that you will find outside your door and I know that I would be the greatest surprise but you have to wait a little more but those presents I chose for you maybe can keep you some company.

This year has been full of joys and hopes for me because all my dreams are coming true and it is unbelievable. When I came in the surface everything seemed so fantastical but, at the same time, so scary because all was new and here the competition is hard and painful especially for someone who has never lived in the surface just like me.
You are the only one who knew my heart and all my doubts and I had times when I did not believe in myself despite the smile I always showed to the camera because the show must go on and we cannot never express our distress in front of the audience. You have been by my side ever time to help and support me with your love and kindness. You are the one who believed in me from the very start. I dedicate my fame and my luck to you. You are my luck and the light that guides me in the darkness especially when you are non with me and I feel so alone but I do not give up because I am able to perceive the fire of your soul from miles and I keep smiling without any fear to fall.
