Coco was made for EVERYONE to enjoy. Yes it does appeal to Mexicans/Latinos specifically because of the story/plot/main character. I love that we are finally getting some mainstream representation. But I also really love that because of this everyone will learn of our culture! It makes me really happy to hear that everyone is enjoying it. Saying that it’s just “made for Latinos” feels like a step back. Coco was made for Latinos to celebrate about our culture but it was also made for everyone to learn a little about our culture and traditions. And to enjoy a cute story about Miguel finding his great great grandfather :)
