Basically I thought of the moon and sun combo and since my acc is around stars and space (mostly for aesthetic purposes but it's still an interesting topic !), why not make a banner for myself with my current fixation. And so I did !

Now with the silly stuff, SOMEHOW I CAN EXPLAIN THAT ONE.

So normally, I'd associate the sun to James and the moon to Sherlock. Being that James is more energic and more outgoing he's literally in warm tones 24/7 compared to Sherlock who's more neutral and literally wears blue, a cold color.

BUT IT'S NOT THE CASE HERE BECAUSE of the whole idea that James will inevitably become mean and evil while Sherlock hasn't crossed that line just yet and probably not considering the different interpretations of Sherlock being the cool detective ripping to pieces Moriarty's evil plans.

FURTHERMORE, there are mentions bc of Bea that James is overshadowed by Sherlock. LIKE WHAT ELSE, the moon !! !! !! !! !! !! Unless there's an eclipse but we don't have that third element so yup

i have had such a blast poring over so many fashion plates and drawing the gang in fancy historical fashion ca. 1872. it was such a joy and a pleasure from start to finish to work with the incomparable @dear-monday on this project - i really couldn't have asked for a better partner from start to finish. she saw the vision 100% and has written the most fantastic fic that i am beyond excited for everyone to finally get to read!!!
