The Avatar Aang movie needs to be the start of a trend where each member of the gaang gets their own movie. I need one about Zuko having the difficulty of healing the fire nation from years of war and imperialism. I need one of Katara setting herself apart from her avatar husband. I need a Sokka movie where he has to decide to help lead the southern water tribe or represent them in the United Nations. I need a Toph movie focused on her journey to being a cop because how the fuck did that happen. I need a Suki movie.

it's such bs that the whole guilt-ridden stoic self-sacrificing martyr thing doesn't work outside of fiction. repressing all your emotions and neglecting your physical wellbeing should make you god's most tragically beautiful morally unassailable little soldier of righteousness but all it does is give you bad skin and gastrointestinal problems

the thing they dont tell you about learning to "trust the process" is that you forget and relearn it every single time you make a new piece of art. unfortunately there is no cure either
